Northampton manager Stuart Gray has made his interest known in Wolves defender and former Cobblers loan star Mark Little, but may face interest from Championship clubs looking to take the 20-year-old on loan.

ALBION

Baggies boss Tony Mowbray will have to bid at least £4million to sign Glasgow Rangers midfielder Kevin Thomson.

VILLA

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has refused to rule out a move for Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry.

Reports from Scotland indicate Villa midfielder Shaun Maloney will complete his return to Celtic in time to make his debut against Falkirk on Saturday.

WALSALL

Saddlers boss Jimmy Mullen has not ruled out signing free agent Gary Breen, especially with an injury crisis on his hands.

Birmingham are the latest to be linked with a move for Walsall defender Anthony Gerrard.

BLUES

A deal for Bobo Balde will not happen for the Blues anytime soon – he still has to negioiate a pay off with Celtic upon his return from international duty with Guinea.
