We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest gossip.
We are not saying they’re true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
The ‘two or three defensive targets’ that Wolves are looking at to are thought to be Hearts’ Christophe Berra, Celtic’s Bobo Balde and Sunderland’s Danny Higginbotham – although the latter is the only one likely to get off the ground.
ALBION
The Baggies could look at a loan move for Arsenal defender Johan Djourou – who played against them at the Emirates on Saturday.
Newcastle will make their attention for Albion target and Real Mallorca striker Oscar Trejo known by the end of the week.
VILLA
Villa manager Martin O’Neill is ready to test Blackburn Rovers’ resolve with a £16million bid for 27-year-old Paraguay striker Roque Santa Cruz.
O’Neill is also set to up his bid for Newcastle’s James Milner to £9million, after already having a £7million bid rejected.
WALSALL
Walsall boss Jimmy Mullen is reportedly interested in free agent and former Wolves defender Gary Breen.
BLUES
Blues boss Alex McLeish has revealed he is still trying to sign Celtic defender Bobo Balde before the transfer window closes.
