As a Wolves fan can I just say well done WBA. You showed guts. Saying that how good are the Gunners down to the bare bones they stroked it around and looked as if they were playing at about 50%. Glad we’re playing Sheff Wed.

u can take a positive out of that its definately not going to be arsenal for the title o sorry the positives are for man u fans tesco,s its going to be a long hard season youve got no goal threat .to tight to hold on to a good thing ie phillips n gera up the wolves \/\/ \/\/

I didn’t see anything to suggest the Baggies might set the prem alight, I did though see enough to suggest they will stay up and I hope they do.
I have to say that all the claptrap written by some of the opposing fans from other midland teams, is nothing short of stupid uneducated cretants who know nothing about football.
Surely I cannot be the only fan (Villa) who would love to see all the midland teams in the premiership, what a lipsmacking season that would be to look forward to. The money that local derby’s generate would be welcomed by all clubs, and dont forget that Sky TV usually televise them.
Good luck Albion, I hope you win em all except two.

MILLER DID WELL , i think we need more pace in midfield n mayb a striker Boing Boing , THE WOLFMAN ? What on earth are u on i think uve been eating to much custard havnt u ?

Ah well. Not a bad result considering. Better to get beat trying to play good football than sticking 11 behind the ball like Robson did. When are the dingles playing at the Emirates? Oh, that’s right….In the cup, if they’re lucky.
Oh dear, it seems that the Molineux Muppets are out in force already. A 1-0 defeat is no disgrace today. I’m glad that you are loving watching us in The Premiership. We know we will lose more than we will win this season, but we will enjoy it non the less. Keep on dreaming about playing there.

LOL at all the Wolves fans. 1-0 against Arsenal is nout.
Whats the score against Sheff Wed? :D

Good effort off the bat, not easy going to the Emirates first up but thought the Baggies did well. Not sure if Cech is up to it though, he seemed easily beaten and out of position at times. Kim looks class and I thought Morrison had a good game, he kept up well with some of Arsenals speedsters. Onwards & upwards. Boing Boing

THE WOLFMAN.
What are you doing, posting on here
at 3.PM, why are you not watching your
shower of tripe.

Great that the only entertainment for Wolves fans is us losing to Arsenal. Closest they get to watching prem football.
As for cech, I think we will turn out to be a good signing. He did look out of position but that was because he is a left back. Meite, Barnett, Miller played well and Kim looked quality.
Bad defeat that…rekon we can only afford another 4 defeats max throughout the campaign or we’ll have to kiss the title goodbye for this year!
;-)

I can only take positives from this game, there wont be many teams only loose 1-0 at the Emerates this season.
We were much better after half time, where I thought we were their equal.
Keep up the good work, and a few more players, we will be ok.

Once Zuiverloon gets into the team and we get a striker or two we should be in with a good chance of survival, which is what this season is all about. As 21 said, we aint gonna win the League are we?
I thought Barnett looked class, as did Kim and Miller worked hard. Carson got his angles right when he had too and gives us more stability than Kiely. Other observations; we sometimes looked light in the middle even though we were playing with five across the park and Hoefkens looked suspect at times. If Koren had been fit and with Valero we could have nicked something today. A defeat but a moral victory in my opinion.
I saw enough in the game to be confident we can stay up, Barnett was our MOTM and Kim played well. miller always looked a threat although i’d like to see him with more support up front maybe it was just cuz we plyed Arsenal that he didn’t get it. Over all i’m not counting any chickens but that was a decent display but still plenty to work on. Boing boing

7 Dave.
As we were missing the same number of players as Arsenal, were we down to the bare bones as well? Oh sorry, forgot your blinkers only allow you to have limited vision.
The first twenty minutes were a rude awakening to what league we are now in but I was so pleased at the way the players picked up the pace of the game. As I said yesterday we could get hammered but if we do TM will learn from it. Seems that the players have learnt a lot for themselves. Nobody had a poor game and we’ve so many players to come back and possibly new people coming in. Suddenly the Prem doesn’t feel quite so scary.
Well done, Baggies. This is the kind of start to build on.
Positives all around, wolves only happy because they beat sheff wed who in fact are rubbish, we played against some top players today and showed gut, wolves going to have much to laugh about? were already laughing, premier league and how many times did we beat you in the last 2 seasons was it 5? oh you beat us once by 1 goal well done.
BOING BOING!!

a great effort today and we certainly wasnt outshone by the great arsenal,we held our own and showed plenty of the football weve come accustombed to this last year especially in the second half,,plenty to look forward to as super mow finishes building a team full of real quality,we will surprise afew this season once weve got in the players mow needs,PLAYING IN THE PREM THE MOWBRAY WAY,,IN STYLE OF COURSE,,OOOOOOOOOOOH YES.

Oooh, bet that smarts ! 3 minutes 42 seconds to get undone by an ex blue nose !!! it just gets better ! Its nice to see the baggies getting into the spirit of things early on and losing like the underdogs that they are. Where am ya terry AY ?
Loser…

A decent performance, in fact I’m a little disapointed we didn’t nick something. However, I’m sure most of us would have taken Arsenal 1-0 WBA before kick-off.
I think if we perform like that for the rest of the season, we’ve every chance of surviving. We competed with Arsenal for long periods, the fact that it took till the 82nd minute for Arsenal to test Carson in the second half, says something.
BOING BOING!!!

Norra bad performance. Play like that against the Fulhams and Stokes and you might grind out enough points to stay up.

Just my words. The team you Dingles are compering us with, Derby lost 6-0 last season. Kim,Barnett,Miller exelent. Hoff, better luck next time if you are picked. Think both Bednar and Mc Donald looked ok. Good debut to Meite. So that one is out of the way, now bring on the Everton.

And also, after conceding so early many teams would have been turned over, so well done after all.
Just one small difference between us and the wulfs-we are competing against some of the top clubs in Europe, with world-class players, while they play teams much like themselves-hoof it and hope second raters. You have to be stupid to laugh at someone playing at a higher level than yourself….doh!
I must say you did well to only lose by 1-0. But wolves did better to win 4-1!
Apparently we are gonna sign Borja Valero from Mallorca
Report abuse
I thought we did really well at least it was 1-0 and not 5-0

I thought you made Arsenal look dire at times.Their fancy pants football makes me want to puke. You deserved at least a point from that game, and can see no reason why you should not get enough points to stay up. I watched Hull and Fulham live after the WBA game..Fulham are dire and so are Stoke, so you only need to take points of these and one other.Good luck.
