New man Meite – his story in pictures

Marseille’s Abdoulyae Meite clears the ball off the line, during the UEFA Cup 4th round first leg match at Anfield, Liverpool.

After a spell with Red Star 93 as a youth player, Meite first came to prominence at Marseille. Liverpool fans will remember this clearance off the line in a UEFA Cup tie in 2004.
