City bowling alley to close

Wolverhampton’s main bowling alley is to close within weeks, staff revealed today.
Workers at Strykers in Bushbury have been told the popular venue will close at the end of October.
Its owners AMF have recently won permission to create a new 26,000 sq ft alley in a former gym building at Wednesfield’s Bentley Bridge development.
AMF refused to comment today but would not deny that it was due to shut.
