Al Murray heading to the NIA
Thursday 7th August 2008, 3:59AM BST.
Al Murray, the Pub Landlord is set to embark on a spring 2009 tour which will take in Birmingham’s NIA Academy on Tuesday April 14.
Following the critical success of hit ITV1 shows Al Murray’s Happy Hour and a second Audience With, the comedian’s Beautiful British Tour will be “The Guv’s” fourth national outing, with all three previous sell-out tours extended due to demand.
This announcement comes hot on the heels of a critically acclaimed second series of TV chat show Al Murray’s Happy Hour.
A prolific year has also seen Al record his fourth live DVD at the London Palladium, host a second Audience With, joining an elite club as one of only four comedians to have done this in the format’s 27 year history; and publish the Richard & Judy Book Club Award-winning The Pub Landlord’s Book of British Common Sense, the highest selling humour book by any comedian during 2007.
Tickets priced £25 plus booking and transaction fee can be purchased on-line at theticketfactory.com or by phoning 0844 33 88 000.
