Brummies bounce back to win
Monday 4th August 2008, 6:10AM BST.
Birmingham bounced back from a run of recent defeats to register an emphatic 55-36 victory at Mildenhall.
The basement Fen Tigers had no answer to a rampant Brummies side, who hit the front with a 5-1 in the opening race.
All the team scored well and were ably led by Craig Watson with a magnificent 15+2 haul.
Kyle Legault continued to make good progress with his fitness scoring 12. Skipper Jason Lyons had three race wins in his 9-point tally.
Birmingham led by a 31-11 scoreline after seven races. Although the home side did reply with a 5-1 in heat eight, there was never any doubt about the end result.
