Keith Darby from Cannock Jobcentre Plus said: “We would like to invite people to come along and find out what’s on offer in the local area., whether they are unemployed, redundant or just returning to work.

“We will be giving customers the chance to find out how to search for a job and about the vacancies and training on offer.”

People will get the opportunity to find out about a wide range of jobs, training and college courses, as well as help with their search for a job including preparing a CV and interview technique.

Business Enterprise Support professional advisers will be on-hand to provide practical advice on how to set-up, a business. Specialist Jobcentre Plus advisers will also be there to talk to people about the wide range of extra help available, including offering support to lone parents, people with health conditions or a disability want to return to work and the longer term unemployed.
