Lucky escape after crash
Saturday 5th July 2008, 5:00PM BST.
A driver had a lucky escape when the car they were travelling in overturned before landing on its roof in Lower Gornal this morning.
Paramedics, police and firefighters were called to Temple Street at around 11am. It is thought the car might have clipped the front wall of a house before overturning.
Spokesman Chris Kowalik said no-one was trapped in the vehicle.
