The Fonz said ‘hey” to pupils in Kidderminster today when he dropped into their school to introduce them to a new cool character.
Despite being over 60, The Fonz was still as smooth talking as ever, charming the teachers and staff at Franche Community Primary School, in Chestnut Grove, and planting kisses on cheeks.
And the actor, Henry Winkler, was greeted by children singing the theme tune from Happy Days, the cult TV show which made his name, and the Fonz seemed to love every minute of it.
He was at the school to talk about his new books featuring Hank, a little lad suffering from dyslexia.
As a dyslexic sufferer himself, he told children that whatever their ability, they could all make something of themselves by following their dream.
He said: “If you are dyslexic you are a very creative thinker and you find ways round things. I took very small steps and had to work a lot harder than many people.”
