Penn look to banish bad memory

wicket_keeper.jpgPenn captain Richard Bradford is looking for his side to prove their promotion credentials by bouncing back from last weekend’s batting horror show.

The division two table-toppers crashed to their first defeat of the season when they were rolled out for 126 against Old Elizabethans.

They face another stern test when they tackle third-placed Evesham on Saturday.

He said: “It was a reality check last week. We had a chat afterwards and everyone agreed we were brash and overconfident, especially after bowling them out for 131.

“It wasn’t acceptable and now I’ll be looking at how we react. The good teams bounce back.”
