Time to map out a plan for Villa's future

Milford back top in style
Wednesday 2nd July 2008, 6:02AM BST.
Milford Hall produced a thoroughly professional performance to reclaim pole position in the race for Staffs Clubs glory.
Opener Stuart Phazey led the way, striking a superb century as they eased to a comprehensive 105-run win over Bloxwich.
Phazey was given solid support from Chris Milward (49 not out), Dave Grattage (31 not out) and Pete Mellor (29) as Milford posted 233-3.
Bloxwich made a rapid start to their response as they motored to 70-3 after 10 overs.
The introduction of New Zealander Ronnie Hira and Milward into the attack put an end to any hopes Bloxwich had of chasing victory.
Left-arm spinner Hira picked up 3-38 while Milward, bowling flat out for the first time this season following injury, picked up 1-3 from nine overs.
Tim Dredge and Grattage picked up a couple of wickets each – Grattage without conceding a run – as Milford wrapped up victory and climbed back to the top of the table.
“It was a very professional performance,” said club spokesman Kevin Herbert. “It’s nice to be back on top, but I still maintain any one of five sides can win the league.
“There’s still a lot of cricket to be played and I think the title race will go right down to the wire.”
