Wolves have lined up a £700,000 move for Leicester midfielder Stephen Clemence to replace transfer-listed midfielder Seyi Olofinjana.

Olofinjana is attracting attention from former team-mate Paul Ince, who will take charge of Blackburn today.

ALBION

Ipswich are the latest side to register an interest in Albion striker Kevin Phillips.

Albion target Shola Ameobi is likely to leave Newcastle, so the Baggies are free to pursue a £2.5million move.

VILLA

Whether Liverpool acquire Villa skipper Gareth Barry is likely to have an effect of whether they can afford Blackburn winger David Bentley, who is a £15million target for Villa.

Villa manager Martin O’Neill has again been linked with Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc.

WALSALL

Walsall manager Jimmy Mullen is mainly interested in permanent signings this summer,

BLUES

Norwich manager Glenn Roeder has ruled out a move for Blues defender Martin Taylor, who appears to be staying at St Andrews.

Blues manager Alex McLeish will move for Hibernian striker Steven Fletcher -regardless of whether he persuades James McFadden to stay.
