They may not be as fast as Ferraris or luxurious as Lamborghinis, but a collection of Skodas, Ladas and Trabants still pulled in scores of enthusiasts at a car show near Wolverhampton.

People flocked to RAF Cosford this weekend to view a bumper collection of Eastern European cars.

Models on display included a Trabant 60s Kombi, Trabant 1.1, 1985 Skoda convertible and award-winning Skoda 1966 1,000 MB. Visitors could also check out a number of military vehicles and mini vans.

The proud owners made sure their pride and joys were polished to perfection before the show and flew flags from their respective clubs, including the Skoda Owners Club GB.
