Long jumper and karate expert Radzi Chinyanganya’s had a disastrous four events and started the final Eliminator assault course with a huge time gap to make up on his opponent.
But the 21-year-old, who at 10st 5lb and 5ft 8in is one of the smallest contestants in the series, clawed his way back into the race to be involved in one of the most dramatic finishes in the history of Gladiators.
Ex-Hednesford Town footballer Tom Ward appeared in the opening episode last Sunday and won a place in the quarter-finals.
