Albion’s promotion to the Premiership may be worth more than £60m to the club – but it has cost them a bob or two as well.

The Baggies will be paying out £750,000 on promotion bonuses following their Championship success.

Luton, Sheffield Wednesday and Manchester City are each due £250,000 after their former players Leon Barnett, Chris Brunt and Ishmael Miller played key roles in the Baggies’ title triumph.

But Albion will bag a total of £400,000 after old boys Jason Koumas and Paul McShane helped Wigan and Sunderland preserve their new clubs’ Premiership status.

    =============TRANSFER NEWS ALERT!==============

I’ve just heard a sneaky rumor that the baggies have tabled an £8M bid for former albion duo, Kieron Richardson and Paul McShane of Sunderland!,

Now i dont mind the idea of getting Richardson back, im not overly keen on the prospect of Mcshane coming back though! He’s too clumsy for the prem and we need cool heads to deal with prem strikers. You heard it here first lads!!

    Watch this space!

Anyone fancy an outside bet for the baggies to finish top half of the table next season?? wonder what odd’s i’d get??

After getting a staggering £6M for Kamara from Fulham, even Peace would’ve been pushing his look asking for clauses as well! :-)

So it pays to try your hardest for the club you are with. You do well and you all reap the benefits, as it should be. Hope we keep getting these bonuses next season for staying up.

I hope that is a belated april fool joke.

    McShane…….an emphatic NO!!!!!!

I genuinely cannot see this being true,
ToMo reiterated time after time, the need for
balance and harmony during the latter stages of last term, basically reading between the lines, he knew he had some disrupted influences
    in his dressing room.

Now, to play devils advocate here,
When we sold all those players last year, JP
played hardball on the fees we received for them, and doing so secured fees the size of which, was only exceeded by the players ego
    ………apart from one……..McShane !!
it was like they couldn`t get him out of the door fast enough.
