VILLA
IN: Villa continue to be linked to a host of players. Deep breath, today’s list is:
Martin O’Neill is continuing his Tottenham-like snaring of any decent young English talent by planning a raid on, er, Tottenham. O’Neill apparently wants Aaron Lennon and Tom Huddlestone.
Aston Villa boss Martin O’Neill is tracking several Fiorentina players, including young Argentinian midfielder, Mario Santana, plus Italian strikers Riccardo Montolivo and Giampaolo Pazzini.
Benfica right back Nelson says he hopes that Aston Villa will follow through with the interest they have reportedly shown in him.
Sheffield United have slapped an £8 million price-tag on centre-forward James Beattie. Beattie, signed for £4m from Everton, has attracted interest from top-flight clubs, including Villa it is claimed, after scoring 21 goals for the Blades. Sunderland and Reading are also keen to lure him away.
OUT:
O’Neill is coy over whether he will offer new terms to veteran attacker Patrik Berger.
WOLVES
OUT?: Striker Sylvain Ebanks-Blake is set to be a summer transfer target for Everton and Queens Park Rangers.

2)Wacky ….I wouldnt laugh if i was you, I see a lot of £££ getting spent by QPR in the summer, and I wouldnt be suprised to see a few big names going there.
You need to get in the prem, wont be a problem then.
I am honestly hoping you make it so we can have the derby in the Prem next year for the whole world to see.
As for the Baggies lets take three points of Norwich, and then guarantee promotion at the last game at the Hawthorns a week Monday!!

Certain players didn’t turn up, Elikobi, Gibson, Collins all had stinkers! Jarvis did OK, Grey was my man of the match but MM bought him off? Eastwood should be sold, he is a lazy useless waste of time and effort who really doesn’t want to play for wolves or MM!!!?!
We had the better first half and should have scored, albion had the better second half. Craddock was unlucky when phillips got away but Elikobi cost us the goal by not marking Gera.
Very dissapointed with the result, will be difficult to make the playoffs now!
I was listening to the phone in’s on WM on the way back from the game, some wolves fans said they were envious, i certainly am not envious and never will be of albion. I am wolves through and through and always will be!

Like I said yesterday, if we dominated in midfield we would get a result.
Unfortunately we were outclassed with greening gera and koren dominating the midfield.
Gutted…but life goes on. Looking forward to Saturday…..lets hope we can get a result against the tractor boys.

I reckon Stoke for Champions as they will beat Bristol, Colchester and Leicester.
Albion will find it hard at QPR – definitely – and Norwich or Southampton are scrapping for points. Albion 2nd and then we should be in the play offs against Hull!

43 – I think we still get into the premier league with 2nd – but none of our remaining opponents have anything left to play for – the last relegation plave is between Leicester and barnsley and Sheff Wed – not that they are easy games, but Stoke have to play a promo rival and a relegation candidate.

Did anyone see Luke Steele’s performance last night for barnsley against Hull ?
He was awful – he gifted them all three goals. He was jumping over the ball – one went through him and then he failed to come for a catch.
He raised his game in the cup, but after watching him last night it’s no wonder TM has moved him on.

45) Can’t add up. I think that you will find Southampton and Norwich can go down and QPR are a decent team. I was not having a dig as I said you will probably just about pip Hull for the 2nd spot. Bristol are in free-fall and would have lost to us if they had given a definite penalty. So it’s Stoke for me as champions!
