Hansen back to ride for Wolves
Saturday 12th April 2008, 11:34AM BST.
Kenneth Hansen has recovered from a hip injury as Wolves make their second journey to the south coast of the new speedway season to take on Eastbourne tonight.
Confidence should be high after their success over Ipswich in the Knockout Cup this week.
Wolves gained just one win in four matches over Eastbourne in 2007, with the Eagles forcing a draw at Monmore in August.
World Champion and former Wolf Nicki Pedersen may be gone from the Eagles line-up, but Wolves will take on an array of British talent, including rapid gater Lee Richardson and young guns Edward Kennett and Lewis Bridger.
Scott Nicholls should make his return from a hand injury suffered in the Sussex side’s win at Coventry earlier this month.
Christian Hefenbrock will be feeling fired up following a paid double-figure score for Wolves at Monmore on Monday. The return fixture takes place at Monmore on Monday.
Eastbourne: Scott Nicholls, Lewis Bridger, Edward Kennett, Cameron Woodward, Lee Richardson, Simon Gustafsson, James Brundle.
Wolves: Fredrik Lindgren, Ales Dryml, Niels Kristian Iversen, Kenneth Hansen, David Howe, Christian Hefenbrock, Nicolai Klindt.
