Harriers set points target
Wednesday 9th April 2008, 11:49AM BST.
Kidderminster manager Mark Yates has set his side a 75-point target for the end of the season – meaning a maximum haul from their last four matches.
Harriers have already chalked up 63 points, matching their tally from last season.
But Yates has urged them to finish their season on a high, starting with tomorrow’s Aggborough meeting with play-off chasing Histon.
Yates said: “I have been very impressed with Histon this season.
They are a big, physical side who put a lot of balls into the opposition box and we have to defend them.
“We have already equalled our points total of last year’s and we want to go well past that now by finishing on 75 points.
“It’s disappointing not to make the play-offs but we need to keep improving as we go along.”
Yates could welcome back first-choice goalkeeper Chris MacKenzie tomorrow after injury.
