RTAA girl had to be airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries after being in collision with a bus in Stourbridge.

The victim, who has not yet been identified but who is believed to be aged about 13, was struck by the single-deck bus in Highfield Road, Amblecote, at about 1.30pm on Saturday. A crew from the West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed to the scene where they found the girl had suffered a suspected fractured skull and pelvis.

He had to be put on a spinal board and fitted with a neck collar before being taken to the town’s Russells Hall Hospital.
