If Villa buy a fraction of the players they’re linked with on here there’ll be none left for the rest of us.

For the time being, with injuries and suspensions,I personally would keep sherjill MacDonald at The Hawthorns. In fact, he could turn out to be a better player than Luke Moore and a damn site cheaper!!
Hull wouldn’t be in the position they’re in if wasn’t for the players they have on loan, namely Fraizer Campbell from Man.utd. and Neil Clements from The Albion. Perhaps we should try to get John Terry and Frank Lampard on loan for the next month!!!

Wolves to bid for Rasiak in the summer.
    Kyle to return to Coventry.

    NUGGETS R US!!

i think wolves should sell potter, get rid of kyle and use neil collins as a SUPER SUB as he really scares me when he is defending. other than that i think we have a joyus team, they just need time to gel. maybe a good young central defender is needed as GB and JC aint getting any younger! ive heard that wolves have signed a hereford player on a pre contract agreement for next year! watch this space!

Gravesen might be available on loan…come on MM we’ll need a midfield stopper/spoiler during the run in…he might be the one, use your merseyside links to get him in.

    7. If Graveson is available on loan what a quality signing he could be for the albion,
just what we need in our midfield, but not sure whether he is mowbrays type of player, but we do need
more muscle in that midfield as much as i rate jonno, koren, kim & morrison in this league you need
more combat in midfield, boing boing!

I think Gravesen is just the ticket for Wolves, be it on loan this season or in the summer.

Just noticed how silly I look.
The team WAS made up of players from the 70′s, not pre 80,s…..d’oh!
    Can you do better?

kent wolf it would be great but were only allowed 11!! who would be the manager?? in the midlands with all the sackings there would be about 10000 to chose from!!heres a contentious statement all clubs have had ther heroes but in the future i dont think the players will ever be loyal enough to have gates or stands named after them,i was reading about lee hughes the other day and he could have been a modern day hero but for stupidity and agents sad state of fotball..sorry to go on!!

    10) Where are the Wolves players ie Hibbitt Dougan Richards Wagstaffe Parkin?

Palmer would not get in and whilst there are some very good Albion players listed, were they all better than the above?

    brummie rob wolves:
I only pondered over the team for 10 mins.
Sure, if I were to sit down & really think of players from the past, even I would come up with a better team.
It was just something to give those poor unfortunates to chew over in their Tea breaks at work.
You quote Hibbitt Dougan Richards Wagstaffe Parkin.Who else would YOU put in the team?
Only consideration is they must have played, for their teams in the 70′s!

    16) I am not saying all of them. I would have to discard Shaw for Richards. A forward line of Little Francis and Richards, no other part of the country could compete with that. Wagstaffe and Hibbitt instead of Cunningham and Johnston.
To balance it up so fans from other clubs say that I am being biased, I would have Rimmer in goal and Batson at right back.
You need to remember that in the 70′s, Wolves and Albion had the best teams.

Very good of you to allow us two players or had you forgotten to take Statham out. Biased? Surely not.

    20) If you read my comment on 17) I said Batson and Statham and obviously never discarded Brown. Furthermore Kent Wolf remembered Bryan Robson, so he too would have to be included.
So no I am not biased and do not have to retort to some of the childish wind up booingers that come onto our pages!
