Time to map out a plan for Villa's future

Belle Vue 49 Wolves 44
Thursday 20th March 2008, 9:55AM GMT.
Wolves began a busy Good Friday with an early start of 11am at a wild and windy Belle Vue, with the Aces winning a very close Craven Shield encounter 49-44.
All seven Wolves made a contribution with the club’s three new signings looking particularly impressive.
Ales Dryml started brightly for the Wolves by leading home GP superstar Jason Crump in heat one, although skipper Freddie Lindgren was an early faller.
Nicolai Klindt and Niels Kristian Iversen took the next two heats, with Joe Screen the first winner for the home side in heat four.
Iversen was quick in all five of his races on a tricky track surface, with several riders appearing to struggle to find a consistent racing line on the small oval.
Klindt was unlucky to fall in heat nine while on a 5-1 with David Howe over Charlie Gjedde, but he showed flashes of pace.
Wolves were just three points behind going into the final race, but an Aces 4-2 secured them the points.
