This was a great way to bounce back after losing to Wolverhampton casuals last week.
With no game Saturday the team meet for a great training session in which a few recent problems were ironed out, on the pitch Sports responded in the right manner.
Tividale came with a game plan of hitting there front man early from the back and trying to get on the end of veteran center forward Lee Rollasons flick ons, this caused problems for Sports early on as they struggled to cope Rollason in the air.
Tividale also changed there system to a 3 5 2 with Grant Joshua in an un familiar role of left wing back.
Tividale should have gone in front early on when stand in centre forward Martin Smith had three one on ones with Sports keeper Jay Trav only for the keeper to pull of three good saves.
Sports took the lead in the 35th min with there first real attack of the game, a goal mouth scramble lead to the ball finding Andy Blakeley on the edge of the area, Andy stepped back and smashed the ball into the top of the net with his left foot with what was a great goal.
Sports were probably fortunate to go in level at half time but they did have chances of their own and always looked a threat on the break

The second half started with both teams giving there all.
Tividale were still launching the ball on to the Sports defence which was still causing problems, and it was after another mix up that lead to Grant Joshua robbing John Willets on the edge of the box and finish with a plumb in the 65th min.
This lead to Sports making two changes, bringing on the experienced centre half Chris Howard and the young legs of Matt Bridgwater, both made immediate impacts, Bridgwater was causing problems at the back for Tividale with his strenght and pace and Howard heading everything away, on 79mins Bridgwater earned a corner and from it Howard flicked on at the near post for Ross Harris to smash home the winner from just inside the six yard box.
Sports finished the game strong and could have increased their lead but Tividale did have a penalty shout late on but the ref judged the defender got the ball before the Tividale forward.
