Man held over hit and run death

A man has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run death of a Walsall newsagent.
Mushraf Surti’s body was found in Broadway West, Walsall, on Monday morning.
West Midlands Police said a 53-year-old man was being questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A post-mortem examination revealed the 51-year-old father-of-six, pictured, died from multiple injuries as a result of being hit by a car.
