Vic Market Tigers had a successful morning picking up maximum points from their two games, a brace from Ethan Jones and a strike from Jack Carter saw them open up with a victory over All Saints Juniors and they followed this up with a victory over Stone Cross Academy Lions courtesy of goals from Jack Carter, Mitchell Hghfield and Liam Jones with Ben Higgins replying.

FC Perton also recorded two wins with goals from Jordan Williams and Jack Whistance securing a victory over Stone Cross Lions while  Jordan and Jack were also on target as they beat All Saints with Matthew Morris and, James Richards-Lendinez completing the scoring with Charlie Street netting both goals in reply for All Saints.

The league’s leading two teams Bentley Youth and F.C. Strollers also went stride for stride as they took on Stone Cross Tigers and On The Ball Academy.

On The Ball held Bentley to a goal less draw in the opening game and were unlucky to lose to a late goal Gianni Boparon against F.C. Strollers after a Joel Waite penalty had cancelled out an early strike from Kian Dwyer for Strollers while Strollers had been held to a draw in their opening game by Stone Cross Tigers with a strike from Kian matched by a goal from Bailey Lowth for the Tigers.

The Tigers were unlucky to lose out to Bentley in their second game with a brace from Jake Powers giving Bentley the points despite a strike from Brandon Wiramanden for the Tigers.

The Premier League season reached its final day with all the issues still to be settled, with four teams in contention for the top spot.

Perton and Codsall West started the day in top spot, needing three points from their last two matches to take the crown.

They duly obliged, as they ran out 2–1 winners against Wednesfield, and following up with a 4–0 victory over Smethwick Sikh Temple.

Daniel Slyde and Jack Bishop were on target in the first match, with Kane Matthews scoring for Wednesfield, while Nicholas Cox, with two, Oliver Lake and Joshua Niven scored in the second victory. Congratulations to a well-deserved championship.

But the destination of the runners-up trophy was far from decided, as fourth-placed Willenhall Town beat second-placed Lane Head by the only goal of the game, scored by Jordan Rayat.

This left it all to the final game of the season which pitted Willenhall against Wednesfield.

Wednesfield needed a win, while Willenhall could take runners-up spot with a draw. Willenhall went ahead, with Wednesfield equalising before half time. End-to-end action followed, but it was Willenhall who netted the winning goal after Wednesfield had hit the post twice.

Ashley Doughton hit both Willenhall’s goals, with Luke Mitchell on target for Wednesfield. Congratulations to Willenhall for taking that runners-up spot.

In the Second Division the results from the first session saw Ashbourne Raiders jump from third to top spot as they ran out 1–0 winners against Pensnett Harriers, with Callum Bradley on target.

Ashbourne went on to consolidate their position as Charlie Irving hit both goals in a 2–1 win over Bentley Youth, who had Jordan Sherwood on target. League leaders at the start of the day, Coven United Colts, were held to a 1–1 draw by Pensnett Harriers, Oliver Thompson scoring for Coven and Daniel Starns for Pensnett.

Stone Cross Academy remained in second spot despite losing their first game 1–0 to Bentley, who had Ben Boddy on target. Stone Cross made amends with a 5-1 win over All Saints, with a hat trick from Bradley Lovatt and goals from Daniel Edwards and Steven Law. Jake Peake scored for All Saints.

Stone Cross have completed their fixtures, but Ashbourne and Coven still have two games to play, and they play each other in the last match of the season.

In the Third Division Salisbury Rangers started the day needing two wins to take the title from FC Perton Pumas, who had completed all their matches.

They began well with a 4 – 0 win over Prestwood Rangers, with two goals from Ethan Harris, and Jordan Hurd and Deon Gallagher also on target.

That result lifted them to third spot, so a win in their last game would see them take the title.

However, a goalless draw with Cooper’s Casuals means that they have to settle for the runners-up spot, pipping NC Colts on goal difference.

So congratulations to FC Perton Pumas, crowned Division Three champions and Salisbury as runners-up.
