Never noticed the major design fault at the Molineux before this picture. The stands face the pitch.

boggieneil the old ones are the best. I bet your a laugh a minute in the pub.

ive said it before and ill say it again, the oldest and still the best ground in the midlands. GLORY GLORY WOLVERHAMPTON
Report abuse
i think the wolves ground aint half bad, the baggies ground is rather nice aswell…..i think the blues need to improve one of there stands and i think walsall’s ground is sutiable the ther attendence and the league there in… The villas ground is superb
Report abuse
Does anybody know why Wolves never filled the corners when they a, could clearly fill them and b, had the money to do it??
Dow gerrit?

28,500 plays 28,003. Sorry the facts don’t lie, we are bigger!!

you might be bigger but your not better :)

7) I think they didn’t fill the corners at Molineux ‘cos they want to be a community club and with the way their strikers shoot there’s always a chance that anyone walking by can get a matchday ball as a souvenir..I must say though that it’s not really the strikers fault ‘cos looking at that horrible colour too often is bound to affect your focus.
Note for Mick McCarthy – if you want promotion all you need to do is play in your away strip and paint the stadium. Could do it for less than you have been spending on players.

You took the words right out of my mouth boing boing baggie.

28,525 i think is the correct some!

Tipton Wolf have you saw Villa Park, That is the best ground son and a premiership side,

Great pictures, enjoyed them all apart from that dodgy stand at St Andrews.

I thought the Walsall ground held 12,500 not 11,300. If there was a league table for the best grounds, based on appearence it would go – Villa Park, Molineux, Banks Stadium (maybe I’m being biased), Hawthorns, St Andrews, Aggborough and Marston Road.
Molineux is still the best stadium in the midlands, i reckon villa then albion better than st adrews at a push!
Am I right in saying that at least we actually own the Hawthorns rather than the Custard Bowl being owned by Staffordshire Council. I hate watching games at the Custard Factory with no corners, its a lot better when its enclosed.

Molineux the best stadium, we’re proud to paint our stadium the colours of our club rather than have a lifeless silver box!
Probabaly get slated for this but I`ve never liked our ground since the refurb. The yellow is horrible and why oh why don`t we fill in the corners, at least we might have some atmosphere then.

And any thats not the finished stadium for wolves there is a model of the finished article and it holds roughly 50,000 plus so i was told but thats the size of the club we are the biggest club in the midlands as far as im concerned
UP THE WOLVES!!!!!!!!!

to be honest i hate to say ti but i think the molineux is the smartest stadium! then its villa then us then walsaal then stafford then the blues :D

What I would dearly love to see would be cantilevered stands all around The Bescot/Banks Stadium. Surely with the success they are having with Dicky Dosh deserves much bigger crowds and they’d probably get them with better viewing. The one stand is now cantilever and a brilliant view. So many Walsall people ‘support’ Villa, Wolves, Albion instead of the Saddlers which is a pity. (I live in Walsall but was born in West Bromwich so can’t include me). You can change your wife, house, car, but NEVER your football team.
