redball.jpgWednesbury Cons moved into second place in division 2 of the West Midlands Snooker League after a 4-1 win at Landywood.

Phil Bellingham, Scott Compton, J Rasmussen and Chris Compton all won for Wednesbury, with Andrew Hickenbottom saving the whitewash for Landywood.

Third-placed Hotshots stayed in touch with a narrow 3-2 home win against West Brom Labour, Neil Beckley, F Burnside and Wayne Robbins won the frames for Hotshot.

Paul Piddock and Steve Simkin won for West Brom.
