Bully factor gives club a lift
Saturday 23rd February 2008, 12:00PM GMT.
Bullmania swept through Marston Road today as fans gathered to set off for Rangers’ crucial away game against Halifax.
Although not yet in charge Steve Bull was expected to be in the dugout for the first game since his appointment was announced earlier this week.
And there was a buzz in the air as the official coach prepared to set off with 40 fans full of excitement and great expectations.
Club helper Paul Tittensor said the Bull effect was already happening. “Normally we only have half that number on the coach for away games.”
In spite of being 11 points off the safety zone in the Blue Square Premiership, they believe the Wolves legend can pull off a miracle and keep them up there.
Bully officially takes the helm for next Saturday’s home game against Farsley Celtic when a bumper crowd is expected. Bull has been given a contract at the Rangers until the end of next season.
