Disagree with Martin Swain (see video)I wouldn’t recommend change if it was not absolutely necessary. Never fancied MM in the first place thought his ideas were old school and he was a very ordinary manager which is exactly what he has turned out to be. I think there is a real danger of Wolves being left behind (i.e. also rans in the CCC) there ar eplenty of new investors in clubs (Derby,Cov, Saints possibly who will invest for quick success and Wolves could be left as a mid table outfit for the long term. I have supported Wolves for over 40 years, travel 300 round trip to every home game but now my appetite is waning I can’t see us making any progress under MM and the quality of the football is so boring I am now looking for every opportunity to avoid going to games and am not sure whether to renw my season ticket. The performance at Cardiff was no great shock, I must have seen 30 odd games this season and I bet you would find less than 180 minutes of satisfying football in the ones that i have seen. Hate being negative b ut this is what MM has done to me with his irrational tactics, bizarre signings and odd team selections. Morgan’s silence doesn’t do it for me either

I was there on Saturday and there and the majority of fans now want McCarthy out. The players may have copped the flak in the warm down but if McCarthy had come out he would have received even worse.
The problem is not just down to results, its the bizzare behaviour of McCarthy that seemed to start against Reading in pre-season. There has been a whole catalogue of problems glossed over earlier in the season by quite a few lucky wins.
I really cant see him surviving beyond the end of the season, possibly even the end of the week if we lose to Scunthorpe.

If Moxey & Co could have the a bility to recruit a decent manager we would not have to go down the hiring & firing route. Our failure to make a decent appointment leaves us little option but to fire. Muppet is not the man for the job -it’s obvious and painful to see. Paul Ince was always the fans favourite – Jez, Muppet & co are sticking together while thee ship sinks!!!

Thank You Mr.Swain, I believe it was me who said about Jones being under less pressure than Mick. I’m glad you appreciate my work! LOL :-)

Brighton – and because Ince was the fans’ favourite that would have guarenteed his success wouldnt it. I’m taking his achievements away but I think any manager would struggle with the poisoned chalice at Molineux, with its mix of over expectant fans, dodgy board, coasting players, and the flippin’ Baggies doing so well down in Sandwell.

Thing is, when Mick came in we needed experience, he did a good job avoiding relegation last year let alone the play offs – remember we had about 8 fit first team players when mick arrived and a un-tried manager woudl have been a huge risk
the question is, having watched some pretty poor football over the last 20 or so matches do we try again with someone else or hope mick has learnt from his mistake and with a maturing squad next year will be better
my impulse is to get rid, but it hasnt worked so far in that we are not established in the prem
and the heart says it would be great to have Incey in charge

No 3 Great post.
I have said it many times before that this man Moxey is the root of the problems. Why on earth Sir Jack bought him in beggars belief.
I will also repeat Look at STOKE since he left and look at the WOLVES since he joined. He could not run a tap never mind a football club.

i agree we must also get rid of moxey he is a major problem at wolves, as for sticking with the manager long term that is complete rubbish , the early birds are out and the way things are going season tickets will be way down, morgan will have to act quickly

No 3.
I agree that it can all be traced back to the arrival of the dead hand of Moxley at Molineux.
We need a clean-sweep. Moxley, McCarthy, the failed backroom staff. Let’s establish a setup that will thrive in the Premiership, where I am convinced that Mr Morgan is going to take us.
Paul Ince is a Wolf with fire in his belly. Let’s get him in and see if he can be the next Stan Cullis. I think that he has it in him, footballing instinct, man management and the respect of those who work with him. Class players will want to come here to play under him.
MM can only attract the average players who are prepared to put in a shift! There is more to football tactics than running hard for 90 minutes!
**PAUL INCE FOR WOLVES**

Steer a Steady Course!
That is a euphamisim for doing the same second-rate things that the club has been doing ever since Moxey arrived here.
Kick out the second-rate and get in world-class winners. That terrifies the Moxey’s of this world with their limited vision. I don’t want to support a Championship team for the rest of my life. I grew up with the best and I want it bak again.
Clean-out the 2nd raters and bring in the Guv’ner. He is going to be a world-class manager, just as he has been world-class at everything he does. He has played under the best modern manager, he was his captain a the team inspiration. he *KNOWS* how to do it.
The rest is just a charade. Steer a steady course, where to? More mediocrity?. More feeble excuses and more insults of the clubs loyal, but frustrated fans?

i just hope mr morgan acts asap why why why cant we be a well run football like the albion they sell £30 million pound worth of players and still a mile better than us mr morgan sort it out sack muppet mick and dont replace him with sammy lee get paul ince (the fans choice before moxley appointed muppet)

Since when has Ince been the fans choice. He’s certainly not mine as he is absolutely unproven. There’s a big difference in managing a championship side than there is a lower league team. There is no denying that MM has made mistakes certainly in his team selection (how much longer can he deny Eastwood and Rosa)but is it really necessary to start baying for his head. I think not. If Wolves sack him just where the hell does that leave us…managerless and at the business end of the season. It makes no sense to get rid of him now give him one more season and see how he does then. Meanwhile all you “NEGS” how about getting behind the team, the team we all love and start supporting them. Give them some damn confidence by getting behind them as we Wolves fans should. All this negativity makes things a damn site worse as its being proven of late.

I’m not denying that Ince may become a great manager in the future – he seems to have the credentials. But anyone who plays the race card for his reason for not getting the job… shows you what sort of person he is. The only reason he didn’t get it is because of his lack of experience.

It’s no good whinging at the moment. We won’t get anyone in who would get us into the premiership this season so we’ve got to give Mick his chance.
This season started so well and now it’s all doom and gloom but remember the team is still youngish and ther new guys have yet to get into their stride. I do not think that if the new signings played on saturday that we would have lost so badly.
All we can expect is a steady improvement. If we don’t get that then Mick must go before the end of the season so the new guy has maximum time over the Summer to plan a realistic campaigne.
Dave Jones should not have gone but remember he got the sack after we lost to Gilingham when they only had ten men for a lot of the game.
I don’t blame the players entirely because most do try but there is an absence of a real competitor in midfield and a natural leader. Someone who takes no prisoners be they the opposition or his own players ‘bottling it’.
Forget about the playy-offs. All we can do is trust that Mick knows what he is doing and that the players will respond.
We’ll all laugh at this time in a few years when man U, chelsae and the like are our regular entertainers at Molineux….
We need a couple of ‘charactors’
