On Saturday Greenhill FC beat Feckenham Res 2-1 in the home first leg of the Challenge Vase Semi-final.

Feckenham had the best of the first half and peppered the Greenhill goal with long range shots early on.

Feckenham eventually took the lead midway through the half with a breakaway goal. 

Greenhill equalised soon after though through a Jim Mattin penalty after Adam Wooldridge was upended in the box.

After the break Greenhill improved defensively and limited Feckenham to few opportunities.

Top scorer Adam Wooldridge hit the winner with his 10th goal of the season with 20 minutes remaining. 

The 2nd leg of the semi final is on Sat 8th March but next week Greenhill face Burntwood Res at home in the league, 3pm KO.
