Saddlers plan loans

Walsall manager Richard Money has reiterated his desire to bolster the squad – and it is likely to happen before their next match.
Teams can only keep emergency loans for 93 days, which means that with the play-offs in mind, new additions are likely to arrive before the trip to Swindon.
“We would want them to be able to be with us should we be able to hang on, keep on going and remain in the play-offs,” said Money.

A central defender is needed although Ropes has stepped into the breach well in the last 3 games. A striker has to be a must as well, whether thats Ricketts or someone else, we need a goalscorer!

defo need a striker as mooney was missing again last night and no disrespect to nicholls & deeney they’re not good enough at the moment to keep us in the play offs

Think the last couple of games have high lighted (if we didn’t know already) how much we need a striker!
With Tommy struggling with his injury, we were reliant on Betsy and Holmes against Yeovil and when the chances came aginst Swansea, we couldn’t put the ball in the net. It’s crucial in the run in, as games become tighter, to take your chances and if we are going to be in the play offs and even go up, then we all know that the chances become harder to come by in those play offs and in the next league up.
I guess we all know what we need but it’s whether we are prepared to pay for it and in that I don’t just mean the board but the fans need to get along to the Banks’s. Where are all the 7000 who turned up on day 1 of this season?
Come on Walsall folk get down there and support your team!
And come on the board, get that money from Fox and Dann invested in the payroll for a striker to shoot us up to the Championship!
