Greenhill 1 Chelmsley Town 0
Tuesday 12th February 2008, 8:25AM GMT.
On Saturday Greenhill won 1-0 at Chelmsley Town in the Mid Com Challenge Vase Quarter Final.
Greenhill started well and had opportunities the best falling to Griffiths, who made a burst from midfield in behind the Chelmsley defence.
Captain Jim Mattin converted a penalty for Greenhill on the half hour after Wooldridge was felled by the Chelmsley keeper in the box.
Greenhill conceded much possession and territory to Chelmsley in the second half but Greenhill’s defence remained resolute and they face Feckenham Res in the first leg of the semi final at home next Saturday.
