Under 8s
Congratulations to Bentley Youth who were crowned Autumn League Champions after goals from Harry Shaw, Jake Powers, Ryan Allmark and Mitchum Baker helped them beat Stone Cross Tigers in the last game of the Autumn League campaign.
Although Bentley took a four goal lead they were left with a nervous last few minutes after late goals from Thomas Shorthouse and Bailey Lowth for the Tigers.
Bentley also went top of the Spring League and put themselves in the driving seat after an excellent victory over championship rivals and Autumn League runners up F.C. Strollers courtesy of a hat trick from Jake Powers with Gianni Boparon replying for Strollers who bounced back from this reverse to beat an improving On the Ball Academy with goals from Ellis Greatrex and James Burke.
F.C. Perton maintained their challenge for Spring League honours with impressive victories over Vic Market Tigers and All Saints Juniors with Jordan Williams a hat trick hero in both games for Perton.
Jordan Astbury and Diarmuid Finbar Hehir were also on target for Perton against Vic Market Tigers while Joseph Hall was on the score sheet for All Saints.
Vic Market Tigers bounced back from their disappointment against Perton to beat Stone Cross Academy Lions with goals from Jack Carter and Liam Jones with Darrien Stone on target for the Lions.
Earlier the Lions had shared four goals with All Saints with goals from Ben Higgins and Ayden Bogle for the Lions cancelling out a double strike for All Saints from Skye Hylton.
New Boys On the Ball Academy continue to impress with goals from Joel Waite and Adrian Dougan helping them to victory over Stone Cross Tigers.
Under 10s
Wednesfield kicked off their Premier Division season with two victories – the only team in the division to achieve it on the day.
Kane Matthews was on target in the 1 – 0 win over New Park Village, and this was followed up with a 6–1 victory over Smethwick Sikh Temple.
James O’ Malley scored a hat trick, with the other goals coming from James Goodwin, Kane Matthews and Todd Brindle. Meanwhile league leaders Willenhall Town dropped two points in their 1–1 draw with Perton and Codsall West, Ashley Doughton netting for Willenhall and Jack Kriskinans for P and C.
However both teams then followed this up with a victory each, as Perton and Codsall inflicted the first defeat in any competition on Lane Head.
Goals from Nick Cox and Oliver Lake clinched the victory, while an Ashley Doughton hat trick, along with goals from Kierron Mackay and Jordan Ryat saw Willenhall run out 5–2 winners over New Park Village, who had Murtzea Hoxia and Joshua Esson on target.
Lane Head picked up all the points in a 2–0 win over Smethwick Sikh Temple, where Jack Whitehouse and Jake Proffitt were the scorers.
So Willenhall head the table, but the chasing pack look set to make it an exciting season.
In the First Division Wolverhampton Development Pumas opened a 5 point gap at the top of the table as their 100% record stayed intact.
A 1–0 victory over second-placed FC Perton, with a Jack Richards goal, was followed by a brace from Jack and a goal from Michael Haynes, as Pumas ran out 3–0 winners over stable mates Wolverhampton Development Panthers.
FC Perton went on to draw 1–1 with rapidly improving Tipton Olympic, with Michal Dobosz on target for Tipton and Andrew Shave for Perton. Tipton’s earlier 2–0 victory over Rowley Rangers, which saw Michal on target along with Adam Woodward, lifted them into third in the table, behind Perton only on goal difference.
Perton and Codsall East fought out two goalless draws, while Wolverhampton Development Panthers picked up their first point of the season in the first of those matches.
Coven United Colts extended their lead at the top of Division 2, with a 1–0 victory over Stone Cross, Jack Haig on target, followed by a 1–1 draw against Pensnett Harriers.
Oliver Thompson was on target for Coven, with Tyronne Spair netting for Pensnett.
Pensnett’s earlier 3–1 win over St Joseph’s, with a brace from Daniel and Starns and one from James Read, saw them jump to second place above Ashbourne Raiders, who did not have a game.
Ben Dutton scored for St Joseph’s. Stone Cross picked up their second win of the season in a 3–1 win over All Saints.
Bradley Lovett scored twice and Daniel Edwards once, with Ryan Williams on target for All Saints.
Another brace came in Bentley Youth’s match against St Joseph’s, this time from Ryan Price, and a goal from Jared Gray gave Bentley the points in a 3–1 win, Corey Whitehouse replying for St Joseph’s.
In fact, Bentley had the best record of the day, as they went on to record a 6–1 win over All Saints. Star of the show was Oliver Aston, who hit four, along with Jared Grey and Jacob Cresswell.
The results move Bentley up to fourth in the table. A hat trick from Reece Peterkin and goals from Reece Arnold and Adam Smith helped newcomers NC Colts maintain their lead in Division 2 after their 5–0 win over Prestwood Rangers, but they went on to lose out to the other newcomers FC Perton Pumas where goals from Theo Bird and Theo Williams were enough for a 2–1 victory, with Reece Peterkin again scoring for NC. Pumas’ 1-0 victory over Salisbury Rangers, with Joseph Sheldon on target, saw them move up to second place in the table, while Bustleholme’s 3–0 win against Prestwood saw them establish third place. Luke Bennett hit two and Jake Davies one.
Cooper’s Casuals picked up their first points of the season as a 1–1 draw with Salisbury Rangers was followed by a 3–2 win over Bustleholme.
In the first match Ben Plant scored for Cooper’s and Callum Lester for Salisbury, while in the second match the goals came from Liam Noble brace and Jason Walton, with Delmaro Channer and Luke Bennett replying for Bustleholme.
Under 11s
Willenhall Town Colts moved to the top of the Premier Division after inflicting a first spring league defeat on previous leaders Rowley Rangers while Hill Top Rangers beat Bilbrook Juniors (Celtic) to maintain their 100% record and move into second spot and goals from Besenyei and Astley helped Finchfield beat Willenhall Town Reds to record their first Spring League victory.
In the First Division Faulkner bagged the all important goal as Wallbrook United ended leaders Warstones Wanderers (North)’s five game winning streak while goals from Sammuels, Wilitch, Smith and Guest helped Perton and Codsall United beat second placed Bilbrook Juniors (Rangers) with Jones and Fagain replying.
A seven goal thriller saw New Park Village Rovers beat East Park Phoenix by the odd goal to maintain their perfect start to the Spring League while Dudley Town picked up their first point of the spring campaign when they shared four goals with F.C. Strollers.
In the Second Division four goals from Ewers, two from Hanslow and one from Spragg helped leaders Bentley Youth beat F.C. Perton in a twelve goal thriller to make it six wins out of six.
Bicknall, with a brace, Boothe, Dowen and Evans were on the score sheet for Perton while goals from Evans and Kitson helped All Saints Juniors beat second placed Coven United and Brandhall Colts beat Warstones Wanderers (Lions) by the odd goal in nine.
Under 12s
Willenhall Town progressed to the semi final of the Premier Division Cup after two goals apiece from Kristian Parker and Sam Downs helped them overcome Sedgley White Lions by the odd goal in seven with Jake Warrilow, Reece Perry and Matthew Cherryington on target for Sedgley while a hat trick from Harry Guest, a brace from Ryan Dillon and a strike from Guiseppee Sorento helped Penn Rovers beat New Park Village Rovers in a ten goal thriller with Ryan Mole, Seamus Williams, Nathan Smith and Matthew Maidlin replying.
Also through are premier division leaders F.C. Strollers who beat Moorcroft Raiders with five goals from Chad Shinton, three from Adam Mills and one each from Josh Bell, Alex Jenkins and Billy Sneddon.
In the First Division four goals from Lewis Reily, three each from Joe Bell and Ryan Goldbourn, two apiece from Thomas Guest and Trentam Bains and one from Troy Hewitt helped leaders Finchfield beat F.C. Strollers (Lions) while a hat trick from Bradley Hines and goals from Adam Daniels and Tyrell Morgan helped Warstones Wanderers (Lions) beat Prestwood Rangers with Kieran Humphries, Leon Carter and Josh Colley replying.
In the group stages of the Spring Shield a hat trick from Callum Hall and goals from Alex Kidson and Brett Jukes helped Wednesbury Sports Union beat Tipton Olympic with John Paskin and Reece Barwood replying while Windsor beat Smethwick Sikh Temple 1-0.
Under 13s
Willenhall Town wee unlucky to bow out of the prestigious Tesco Cup at the semi final stage losing out to a very strong Tean Rangers. Wednesbury Oak Colts will face NC Sports in the final of the First Division Cup after goals from Ricky Evans and Sanchez Mully helped the Colts edge out Bustleholme Hawks with Alex Leatherland on target for the Hawks.
Bantock Vipers were confirmed as second division runners up after an impressive 2-0 victory at Bentley Youth while it is neck and neck at the top of the first division with only goal difference separating the top two after leaders hat tricks from Koldian Beqa and Fabian Facey and goals from Erik Kuserak, Michael Barber and Kristian Wharton helped leaders Warstones Wanderers (South) beat Perton & Codsall United while two goals from Hayden Bowyer and one each from Ricky Hayter and Luke Hudson helped second placed NC Sports beat All Saints Juniors and it was honours even when Bentley Community entertained All Star Harriers with Tom Ahern on target for Bentley and Keith Williams for the Harriers. In the Premier Division four goals from Luke Shirley, three apiece from Callum Williams and Mitchel Smallwood-Rose, two from Jordan Anderson and one each from Jack Whitall and Mohit Sethi helped leaders Warley Vipers beat Oldbury Lions to maintain their 100% record while a hat trick from Alex Foreshaw and goals from Conner Mulqueen, Charlie Turner, Courtney Glasford and Jordan Dixone helped second placed Eurofast beat Bustleholme Blades to keep up the pressure on the leaders with Jack Adams replying for the Blades while New Park Village are just one point behind Eurofast after two goals from Dimitri Dunkley and one each from Junior Mangolo, Robert Miller and Amarni Allen helped the Village beat Moorcroft Raiders and it was all square when Himley Colts entertained Hill Top Rangers with a strike from Greg Whitehouse for Himley cancelled out by a goal from Leon Jones for the visitors.
In the Group stages of the Spring Shield a brace from Callum Bull and goals from Harry Cleaver, Bo Winmill and Joseph Baker helped Tipton Olympic beat Tettenhall Wood while a hat trick from Jack Elmore and goals from Robert Lloyd and Sam Elmore helped New State Lions to victory at Dudley Town with Jordan Bladden replying and a brace from Mike Hopley and goals from Sean Caddy and Romario McFarlande helped Bilston Wanderers beat Wednesbury Royals by the odd goal in seven with Nathan Middlebrook, with a brace and Charlie Jones replying for the hosts.
It was even-steven when Black Country Ravens entertained Warstones Wanderers (East) with Emmanuel Tetteh on target for the Ravens and Michael McCrystal for Warstones.
Under 14s
Two goals from Matt Abbiss and one from Pavraj Singh helped Willenhall Town Swifts record an impressive victory over premiership leaders Hill Top Rangers with Reve Gardner netting both goals in reply while a brace from Wiley and goals from Dupont and Bragg helped second placed Sandwell Dynamos beat Darlaston Town and a brace from Lee and goals from Palmer and Burke helped Warstones Wanderers North beat Wolverhampton Development to move into third spot with Gallagher replying.
In the First Division goals from Luke Chidlow, Ian Tipton and Craig Spellman helped leaders Beechdale Swifts beat promotion rivals Perton and Codsall United while Jordy Nkunga bagged the only goal of the game as B.N.J.S.F.C. beat Warstones Wanderers (South) to move into second place level on points with Perton and Codsall and just one point above Warstones.
Goals from Chris Price and Symeon Nelson helped Tipton Olympic beat Smethwick Sikh Temple while goals from Harris, Read, Lavelle and Hodgetts helped F.C. Perton beat Willenhall Town Colts with Thiara replying.
In the second division two goals from George Chatham and one each from Michael Potts and Ashley Jones helped Coven United return to winning ways with an excellent victory over Coopers Casuals with Thomas Leo and Luke Smith on target for the visitors while Smith bagged the all important goal as Wednesfield Phoenix beat Bentley Youth and bottom of the table Moorcroft Raiders continued their unbeaten run when they held second placed Windsor to a 1-1 draw.
Under 15s
In the Premier Division leaders Bilbrook Juniors (East) beat Willenhall Town Swifts 2-1 while third placed Willenhall Town Tigers beat second placed Finchfield with Dan Lewis, with a brace, Josh Pitt and Aasen Snaith on target for the Tigers with Tobias replying for Finchfield while Evans bagged all three goals as Trysull Tigers beat Carlisle Swifts and two goals apiece from Perkins and Bury and one from Porter helped Beechdale Swifts beat Windsor with Thompson replying while two goals from Whitehouse and one from Roberts helped Bustleholme 2000 beat Wolverhampton Development with Monder and Roberts replying.
In the First Division a thrilling encounter saw leaders Park Hill Boys share a dozen goals with Smethwick United while second placed Springvale had to be content with a share of the spoils when they entertained third placed Wednesbury Inter Athletic with goals from Stanford and Crawford for Springvale cancelled out by a double strike from Harris.
Welsh bagged a hat trick as fourth placed Wood Farm Wanderers were held to a draw by Tipton Olympic with Perry, Whitehouse and Graham replying.
Four goals from Northall and one each from Cliff, Bigford and Harman helped F.C. Perton beat local rivals Perton & Codsall United with Morgan replying while goals from Carroll and Bott helped Featherstone beat Woodsetton.
In the Second Division Uppal bagged the all important goal as leaders Punjab United beat Penn Rovers while goals from Dodd, Bowkley, Walker and Martin helped second placed F.C. Strollers beat Wood Green with Ward replying and two goals apiece from Foley and Green and one from Wren helped third placed Bilbrook Juniors (North Star) beat Darlaston Town with Bryan and Williams replying while fourth placed Warstones Wanderers beat Tipton Warriors in an eight goal thriller with Jinman, with a brace, Smith, Brown and Keeley on target for Warstones and it was honours even when Ashbourne Raiders entertained All Saints with Hansal netting both goals for Ashbourne and Sunal and Frasier replying for All Saints.
Under 16s
A brace from James Machin and goals from Connor Scott, Ryan Harper and Sam Ralley helped Bustleholme record an impressive victory over Stourbridge Glass Boys to progress to the quarter finals of the prestigious B’ham County F.A. Minor Cup where they will face a trip to Olton Ravens who beat Tipton Town by the odd goal in three with Ian Watkins on target for Tipton.
Congratulations to Walsall Town who were crowned as Second Division Champions after a Chad Masters strike and an own goal helped them beat Sedgley Alliance Swifts with Nathan Cain replying while goals from Matt Cooksey, Sean Steventon and Dan Hopson helped Hill Top Rangers beat Bentley Youth with Sam Giles replying.
It was honours even when Willenhall Town Colts entertained Moxley Rangers in the First Division. The Colts quickly settled into the game and were two up by half time with goals from Jake Holyhead and Christian Hall. Moxley started the second half better but the Colts went further ahead through Jack Goodwin, then the Moxley fight back came with 3 goals in the last 20 minutes from Mark Kendall, Sam Jones and Nathan Marshall.
It was all square in the game between second placed Hill Top Rangers Colts and third placed Wolverhampton Development with a strike from Hill Top’s Aaron Bailey cancelled out by a goal from Danny Roden from the visitors.
In the third division goals from Darren New and Rhys Jessop helped leaders Beechdale Swifts beat Sedgley Rovers with Jordan White replying. A brace from Lennox Lewis and goals from Nassa Heidari, Danny Ryman and Luke Massey helped Lyng Falcons beat Wednesbury Town Boys to progress to the final of the Premier Division Charity Cup with Liam Wright and Shane Maydew replying for Wednesbury.
In the First Division Charity Cup a brace from Dan Coles and a strike from Dan Powner helped Sedgley Town beat Wednesfield to progress to the semi finals with Joe Robinson replying while Penn Rovers booked their place in the semis with an odd goal in five victory over Punjab United courtesy of a brace from Ash Davidson and a strike from Jake Brown with Elliot Penberthy and Gulshan Sagto replying.
In the Second Division Charity Cup Parkes Hall are through to the Semi Finals after two goals from Stuart Evans and one each from Matt Williams and Craig Ruston helped them beat Windsor with Matt Pendrous replying.
A brace from Jonathon Cliffte helped Stowlawn Youth beat J.M.United to progress to the semi finals of the Third Division Charity Cup with Connor Johns replying while goals from Aaron Patel, Liam Rutter and Marcus Moreton helped Wednesbury Sports Union beat Darlaston Town in their quarter final tie with Byron Millington replying.
Under 17s
Goals from Gibbons and Aston helped Bustleholme beat Pak Hill Boys to book their place in the knock out stages of the Presidents Cup while in the Premier Division four goals from Darren Jassell, two from Ashley Smith and one from Lee Smith helped Willenhall Youth beat Park Hill Boys ’07 to move into second place with Wall replying while goals from Merrick and Golding helped leaders Swinmoor Rangers beat Argyle with Pickard replying.
In the First Division a hat trick from Evans and goals from Cadman, Bolton and Etiemble helped leaders F.C. Perton Pumas beat Parkes Hall Lions while a hat trick from Payne and goals from Clarke, Rasheed and Halil helped third placed Darlaston Town beat second placed Parkside Rangers in an eleven goal thriller with Beckett, with four goals, and Singh replying and goals from Stear, Hendy and Wood helped Wednesbury Sports Union beat AFC Wombourne with Buckland and Harper replying.
