An unbeaten Chasetown came out strong and opened the scoring early in the first half,a shot from Charlie Godwin went wide of goal but Vipers soon equalised with a volley from Michaela Haynes.
Emily Butler put in some great tackles during the game. Chasetown peppered Vipers goal to no avail due to the excellence of Hayley Hickman in goal.
Vipers continued to battle throughout the rest of the first half.
Half time score 1-1
Second half : A shot from the half way line from Chelsea Main was saved by Chasetown goalie. Chasetown scored again bringing the score to 2-1, Lane Head were not deterred and another volley from Michaela hit its target.
Several shots from Frankie Waltho were saved by chasetown goalie. Four nailbiting minutes from time when Vipers had resigned themselves to a draw, a header from Micheala went in the net bringing the final score to 3-2.
Vipers were ecstatic. Scoring a hat trick for the first time this season earned Michaela the girl of the game trophy.A well earned KFC was enjoyed by all after the game.
