The Spring League sees new boys F.C. Perton battling it out with the top two from the Autumn League Bentley Youth and F.C. Strollers after victories over On the Ball Academy and Stone Cross Tigers.

Goals from Whistance, Hehir and Williams ensured the victory over On the Ball Academy, with Joel Waite replying while Whistance and Williams were again the goal heroes as Perton beat Stone Cross Tigers.

The league’s other new boys On the Ball Academy bounced back from their earlier reversal to pick up their first league point after goals from Joel Waite and Adrian Doogan helped them to a share of the spoils with Vic Market Tigers with Jack Carter netting both Tiger’s goals.

Bentley Youth and F.C Strollers both enjoyed to victories to go level on points with Perton at the top of the table.

A brace from Kieran Francis and a strike from Josh Toye helped Bentley beat Stone Cross Academy Lions while Jake Powers, Josh Toye and Kieran Francis were on the score sheet as Bentley overcame a battling performance from All Saints Juniors with Derek Wall on the score sheet for All Saints.

A brace from Ellis Greatrex and a strike from Gianni Boparon in the last couple of minutes of the first half helped F.C. Strollers overcome All Saints after the Saints had matched Strollers stride for stride but it needed a further goal from Ben Mansell in the second half to make the points certain. Strollers followed this up with a victory over Stone Cross Lions courtesy of a hat trick from Ellis Greatrex, a brace from Gianni Boparon and goals from Kian Dwyer and James Birk with Ayden Bogle on target for the Lions.

In the battle of the Tigers in the Autumn League a brace from Bailey Lowth and a strike from Reece Law helped Stone Cross Tigers beat Vic Market Tigers with Jack Carter replying.

 

Under 10s

After three weeks of postponements because of the weather the Spring League finally got under way, with four divisions based on the league placings from the Autumn League.

In the Premier Division Willenhall Town and Lane Head became the early pace-setters, as both teams started with two victories each. Lane Head fought a close battle with Perton and Codsall East, running out 1 – 0 winners with new signing Ricardo Gerald hitting the only goal of the game.

Perton and Codsall missed a penalty which would have given them a share of the points. Meanwhile Willenhall had a slightly easier time as they ran out 3 – 0 winners against Smethwick Sikh Temple, with a brace of goals from Ashley Doughton and one from Kierran Mackay. Lane Head followed up with a 2 – 0 victory over New Park Village, with Ricardo Gerald again on target, along with Russell Heathcock. It wasn’t NPV’s day as they went on to a 1 – 2 defeat by Willenhall, in a very close game which saw Willenhall’s goals coming from another Ashley Doughton brace, with Joshua Essen replying for NPV.

In Division 1 the  two Wolverhampton Development teams faced each other, and the biggest score of the day saw Pumas run out 6 – 1 winners over Panthers. Jack Richards was the hat trick hero, with the other goals coming from Jonathon Osbourne, James Butler and Sheldon Marsden.

Pumas went on to record a 2 – 0 win against Rowley Rangers, with Joshua Birkett and Jack Richards on target.

The other team to gain two victories was FC Perton who had  Aaron Green and Besmellah Azimi on target in a 2 – 0 win over Perton and Codsall East, and a similar score line against Tipton Olympic saw  Oliver Matthews and Aaron Green (again) hitting the net. Perton and Codsall had earlier run out 2 – 1 winners against Rowley Rangers with Jake Sharman and George Vernon on target and Rowley’s reply coming from William Dakin.

Tipton Olympic beat Wolverhampton development Panthers, the only goal of the game coming from Jake Langley. In Division 2 Coven United Colts showed everyone the way, as goals from Jack Haig, with a superb hat trick, and Oliver Thompson and Nathan Sharples saw them open their account with a 5 – 1 victory over Bentley Youth, who had Jacob Cresswell on target.

Coven went even better as they faced St Joseph’s Colts, recording a 7 – 0 win, the goals coming from a Nathan Sharples hat trick, a brace from Ciaran Singh, with Jack Haig and Oliver Thompson also scoring.

Ashbourne Raiders also started their campaign with two victories, running out 4 – 0 winners over Stone Cross, where Joshua Evans, Ishmael Hussain, Joshua Massey and Charlie Irving were the scorers, and following this with a closer 2 – 1 over Pensnett Harriers, with  Callum Bradley, Charlie Irving on target and Richard Mason replying for Pensnett.

Both stone Cross and Pensnett had won earlier games, with Stone Cross running out 2 – 0 winners against St Joseph’s, courtesy of a James Hall double, and Pensnett beating Bentley Youth 2 – 1, Daniel Starns scoring both Pensnett’s goals and Ryan Price replying for  Bentley.

Division 3 saw the arrival of two new teams to the league.

NC Colts and FC Perton Pumas faced each other in their first ever competitive match, and a goal from Reece Patterson for Colts was all that separated the two teams.

Colts went on to win their second game of the day, against Bustleholme, by a similar score from the same player, while Pumas went on to pick up a point from a 1 – 1 draw against Salisbury Rangers.

Theo Bird scored for Pumas, with Ethan Harris on target for Salisbury. Credit must go to Prestwood Rangers, who had to field a severely reduced team but fought hard even though outnumbered.

They went down 0 – 5 to Salisbury Rangers, who had Sabranj Kheoria (2), Callum Lester (2) and Joe Rudd on target, and then by a similar score line to Bustleholme who saw a hat trick from Luke Bennett, with Brad Smallman and Jake Powell also on target.

Under 11s

In the Spring League First Division goals from Edwards, Ball and Burgess helped F.C. Strollers take all three points at leaders Bilbrook Juniors (Rangers) with Jones and Farmila replying while Warstones Wanderers (North) maintained their 100% spring league record with an 8-0 victory at Perton and Codsall United and New Park Village Rovers opened their spring league account with a 5-0 victory over Dudley Town while East Park Phoenix beat Wallbrook United 5-1.

In the Second Division leaders Bentley Youth beat F.C. Perton 5-1 to maintain their 100% record while a hat trick from Nathan Robertson, a brace from Charlie Mackelworth and a strike from Kieran Hollingsworth helped Coven United Colts beat Brandhall Colts.

A brace from Hollyhead and goals from Hemmings and Greatholder helped Willenhall Town Reds beat Finchfield to book their place in the Group B Charity Cup final with a perfect record in the group stages.

Besenyei, Astley and Giles replied for Finchfield while Wednesfield Colts finish in top spot in Group A with a perfect record after they beat Bilbrook Juniors (Celtic) 7-0.

 

Under 12s

Kerion Whittaker bagged a hat trick as Bilbrook Juniors (West) maintained their 100% league record with a excellent victory over premiership leaders F.C. Strollers while hat tricks from Dylan Cooney and Joshua Bailey, a brace each from Meeshak Douglas and Jack Hutchins and goals from Jamie Bungar and Kashan Brown helped second placed Warstones Wanderers (West) beat Moorcroft Raiders and five goals from Kristian Parker, four from Joshua Garbett and one each from Charlie Arnold and Sam Downs helped Willenhall Town beat Sedgley White Lions with Matthew Cherrington netting both goals in reply while two goals apiece from Joshua Edwards and Luke Moseley and one each from Billy Bull and Chris West helped F.C. Perton beat Penn Rovers with Ran Dillon replying. In the First Division a brace from Ryan Goldbourn and goals from Lewis Reily and Troy Hewitt helped Finchfield beat F.C. Strollers (Lions) to move back to the top of the table with Brad Crabtree and James Petiffer on target for the Lions while a brace from Bradley Hines helped Warstones Wanderers (Lions) beat Windsor with Vinney Dash replying. In the Spring Shield a brace from James Winwood and goals from Thomas Heath and Wrayon Vassell helped Coven United beat Smethwick Sikh Temple with Gavin Suder netting both goals in reply while a brace from Ryan Carter and goals from Leon Carter, Liam Ingram, Josh Colly, Macauley Love and Keiran Humphries helped Prestwood Rangers beat Bentley Youth with Callum Bray replying.

 

Under 13s

In the Premier Division Charity Cup goals from Junior Mangolo, Amari Allen and Dimitri Dunkley helped New Park Village beat Bustleholme Blades in a five goal thriller with Jack Adams netting both goals in reply while a brace from Conner Mulqueen and a strike from Courtney Glassford helped Eurofast overcome Himley Colts and a brace from Jamie Seddler and goals from Leon Jones and Harley Riely helped Hill Top knock out Oldbury Lions.

In the First Division Charity Cup a hat trick apiece from Erik Kucerak and Fabian Facey and goals from Godfred and Klodian Beqa helped Warstones Wanderers (South) beat All Saints Juniors with Andre Evans and Tafferrell Richards replying.

In the Second Division Charity Cup goals from Jack Smith and Tom Timmins and an own goal helped Sedgley White Lions to an odd goal in five victory at Bantock Vipers with Conner Gill and Brad Millington replying while a hat trick apiece from Kavell Gale and Ashley Hale helped Bentley Youth beat Black Country Ravens with Jack Reynolds and Lee Davis replying.

In the First Division goals from Luke Hudson and Ricky Hayter helped NC Sports beat Bentley Community to close the gap on the leaders with Tom Allen on the score sheet for Bentley while two goals apiece from Sanchez Mulley and Leighton Mitchell and one each from Joe Parsons and Tom Ruston helped Wednesbury Oak Colts beat Perton & Codsall United and it was honours even when Bustleholme Hawks entertained All Star Harriers with goals from Brad Loweiur and Benji Lyons-Cooper for the Hawks cancelled out by strikes from Tom Edge and Tanraj Shanga for the Harriers.

In the Second Division an exciting end to end game saw leaders Bustleholme Athletic maintain their 100% record with an odd goal in three victory over New State Lions.

The Lions keeper, Liam Roberts, held Bustleholme at bay until some excellent football by Bustleholme’s Joshua Heath in the middle of the pitch culminated in a superb pass to team mate Dray Orgill who took the lead for the home team just before half time.

In the second half the Lions Jack Elmore quickly equalised to put the pressure back onto the home team who were repeatedly foiled by the Lions keeper until Orgill managed to claim a second late in the game.

In Third Division Ricky Lally bagged the all important goal as Tettenhall Wood Athletic beat Wednesbury Royals to pick up their first points of the season.

In the Spring Shield two goals apiece from Amdeep Binning, Tike Oluayodomi and Aman Shergill helped Smethwick United beat Bilston Wanderers with Mike Hopely replying while two goals apiece from Omari Thomas and Jordan Palmer and one from Alex Jones helped Punjab United beat Dudley Town with Panash Kanyuday replying and two goals apiece from Matt Smith and Ryan Brindley and one each from Okes Koyunlo and Alex Ryan helped Pendeford Park beat Tipton Olympic.

Under 14s

The top of the table clash in the Premier Division saw goals from Adam Smith and Josh Breeze help leaders Hill Top Rangers beat Warstones Wanderers (North) with Edwards replying while goals from Bragg and Edwards helped Sandwell Dynamos beat Willenhall Town Swifts to keep up the pressure on the leaders and two goals from Haywood and one from Withington helped Darlaston Town beat Wolverhampton Development while it was honours even when New Park Village entertained Tettenhall Wood Athletic with goals from Edwards and Reynolds for the Village cancelled out by a double strike from Edwards for the visitors.

In the First Division a brace from Read and goals from Bevan and Smith helped Warstones Wanderers (South) beat leaders Beechdale Swifts in a seven goal thriller with Chidlow, Summerfield and Speed replying while goals from Flavell, Harris and Harvey helped second placed Perton and Codsall United beat Smethwick Sikh Temple and a brace from Smith and a strike from Bunger helped Sedgley White Lions beat Tipton Olympic with Madeley replying and goals from Sadique and Guy helped B.N.J.S.F.C. beat F.C. Perton with Harris replying while Willenhall Town Colts beat Tipton Town 1-0.

In the Second Division a brace from Jason Groves and goals from Ross Saxon and Martin Cossery helped leaders Stone Cross beat Coopers Casuals while Coven United’s impressive run continued at Moorcroft Raiders where victory was secured courtesy of a brace from Fearon and goals from Chathan, Whitehouse.

Faulkner and Rainer with Bowdley and Parkes replying and second placed Windsor shared the points and two goals when they visited Tipton Athletic while Bentley Youth and Wednesfield Phoenix shared the spoils in a six goal thriller.

Under 15s

Lines bagged the only goal of the game as Trysull Tigers beat Premier Division leaders Finchfield while a brace from Hill and a strike from Birch helped second placed Bilbrook Juniors (East) beat Parkes Hall with Mellor and Reece replying and a brace from Dan Lewis and a strike from Matt Bayliss helped Willenhall Town Tigers beat Wolverhampton Development while a hat trick from Liam Thompson and a strike from Arun Kaul helped Windsor beat Bustleholme 2000 with Ricardo Johnson, Thomas Whitehouse and Levi Goodwin replying. In the First Division four goals from Tonks and one each from Parker, Wood and Sheffield helped leaders Park Hill beat F.C. Perton with Hamman, Northall and Moriaty replying while a hat trick from Stanford and goals from Carter, Quarry and Wood helped second placed Springvale beat Woodsetton and it was honours even when Wood Farm Wanderers entertained  Smethwick United with Holyhead, Welsh and Bednaroczyk bagging Wood Farms share of the goals while Tipton Olympic and Perton & Codsall United also shared six goals with a hat trick from Graham 3 for Tipton cancelled out by a brace from Madley and a strike from Morgan.

In the Second Division two goals apiece from Maninder Lall, Ryan Mae and Amraj Reehal and one from Hoshank Ahmed helped Second placed Punjab United beat Sedgley White Lions to keep up the pressure on the leaders F.C. Strollers while a hat trick from Jinman, a brace from Thomas and goals from Smith, Dudley, Allsopp and Mullington helped Warstones Wanderers beat Penn Rovers with Davies, with a brace and Tunstall replying and a hat trick from Angle, a brace from Stevenson and a strike from Kazma helped Ashbourne Raiders beat Tipton Warriors with Hale replying while Wood Green and Bilbrook Juniors (North Star) shared the points in an eight goal thriller with Hack, with a brace, Wall and Ward on target for Wood Green and Harris, with a brace, Wren and Lane replying for Bilbrook and it was also honours even when Darlaston entertained All Saints with goals from Williams and Smith for Darlaston cancelled out by strikes from Simpson and  Frasier for the visitors.

 

Under 16s

Goals from Mitchell Teece, Paul Fynn and Ryan Wilkins helped Pelsall Villa Colts beat Lyng Falcons to book their place in the final of the Premier Division Cup.

In the Premier Division two goals apiece from Seb Craven and Liam Smith helped leaders Tipton Town beat Wednesbury Town with Dan Parkes bagging a brace in reply while goals from Zac Marriott, James Machin and Nathan Howen helped Bustleholme beat Willenhall Town Swifts.

In the First Division goals from Alex Handley and Howard Baker helped second placed Hill Top Rangers Colts beat Moxley Rangers to close the gap on leaders Sedgley Town while Kulbinder Singh bagged the only goal of the game as Punjab United beat Willenhall Town Colts and goals from Joe Joule and Luke Taylor helped Wolverhampton Development earn a share of the points at Wednesfield who’s goals came from Andrew Roberts and Jason Hayward.

In the Second Division Parkes Hall beat leaders Walsall Town 1-0 while second placed Sedgley Alliance Colts were held to a draw by stable mates Sedgley Alliance Swifts with Dan Unit on target for the Colts and Jon Guest for the Swifts and two goals from Jacob Somani and one each from Daniel Clarke and Daniel Lodge helped Windsor beat Bentley Youth with Brandon Johnson and Luke Cox replying.

In the Third Division a hat trick from Connor Forrester and goals from Dan Brassington and Alex Turner helped leaders Aldersley beat Image Wheels Kestrals while second placed Beechdale Swifts beat Stowlawn Youth 6-2 and a brace from Liam Rutter and a strike from Ashley James helped Wednesbury Sports Union beat Sedgley Rovers with Zak Glover replying while a brace from Greg Cornes and goals from Ryan Speakman and Tobias Dell helped J.M. United beat Darlaston Town.

 

Under 17s

In the prestigious B’ham County F.A. Sunday Youth Cup Swinmoor Rangers cruised into the next round with an excellent victory over Forest Falcons with a hat trick from Smith and goals from Edwards, Nicklin, Richards and Connochie while Bustleholme went out to Halesowen Town.

In the Presidents Cup premiership Willenhall Youth beat First Division Parkes Hall Lions with goals from Radford, James and Dowen.

The Lions started off the better side and for the first quarter Willenhall were penned back in their own half but they gradually played their way into the game and an excellent through ball was calmly slotted home by Dan Dowen.

Although the Lions responded brightly they found themselves two down after Craig Radford converted from the spot after Ellis James had been brought down in the box. Willenhall sealed the tie when Ellis James latched on to a long ball over the Parkes Hall defence to volley past the advancing keeper.

In the same group a brace from Garfield and goals from Bowden, Craddock, Singh, Evans and Beckett helped first division Parkside Rangers beat premiership outfit Park Hill Boys ’07 with Heaps, Wall, Ralph and Freeman replying for the visitors.

In Group 1 a hat trick from Parkes, a brace from Pope and a strike from Aston helped premiership Argyle beat first division AFC Wombourne with Buckland replying while first division Darlaston Town held premiership Castle Youth to a 2-2 draw with Payne and Dixon on target for Darlaston and Jones and Williams on target for Castle.

In the all first division encounter in Group 2 Wednesbury Sports Union beat Wyrley Juniors by the odd goal in three.
