The weather had a devastating effect on the league’s fixture programme at the week end with only a handful of teams braving the conditions.

In the Under 11s East Park Phoenix inflicted a rare spring league defeat on first division leaders Bilbrook Juniors (Rangers) with the conditions no doubt contributing to the 10-4 score line while at Under 12s four goals from Matthew Cherryington, two apiece from Jordan Dugmore and Rhys Perry and one each from Callum Upton,  Aiden Wilkes and Jake Warrilow helped premiership outfit Sedgley White Lions beat Bentley Youth from the second division to progress to the fourth round of the Jamie Mason League Cup.

The Under 13s fared slightly better and although all eight ties in the third round of the Jenny Chapman League Cup fell foul of the weather there were at least two league games played.

In the Premier Division a hat trick from Adam Perry and goals from Leon Jones and Harley Riely helped Hill Top Rangers to victory at Oldbury Lions with Daniel Johnson, Luke Hawkins and Josh Yates on the score sheet for the hosts while in the Second Division second placed Bantock Vipers enjoyed a comfortable victory over bottom of the table Black Country Ravens courtesy of a brace from Tom White and strikes from Bobby Rowe, Jack Turley, Jonti Morgan, Lee Gorman and Rhys.

The afternoon fixtures fared little better. In the under14s premier division goals from Joshua Breeze, Jamie Holder, Jamie Wheatley, Adam Smith, Corey Mason, Thomas Slater and Aiden Smith helped leaders Hill Top Rangers beat bottom of the table Tettenhall Wood Athletic while Darlaston Town beat Wolverhampton Development 5-1.

Wolverhampton Development was the venue of the only Under15s fixture to beat the weather where the home side beat Stone Cross Academy 4-0 to cruise through to the second round of the premier division charity cup while at Under 16s two goals apiece from Rhuel Miah and Shuam Islam and one from Liam Miller helped first division Moxley Rangers beat second division high fliers Sedgley Alliance Colts to progress to the fourth round of the Wednesbury Junior (League) Cup with Cashan Wyhter, with a brace and Dean Ashford replying for the visitors.

In the Under17s premier division goals from Conoghie, Golding, Smith and Richards helped leaders Swinmoor Rangers to victory at Park Hill Boys with Gibson netting both goals in reply.
