Two great signings, just what we needed. And despite all the people who knock him, a special well done to Jez Moxey for once again getting quality players for a bargain price.

However, for all the so called ‘fans’ who are already questioning the new signings, I would much rather have a 21 year old Ebanks-Blake for £1.5million than a 32 year old Steve Howard for £1.5million (what Leicester have just paid). As for Edwards I don’t know much about, but then again I didn’t know much about Kightly before we signed him!

With all that gone on i’m pleased that our manager has realised the problems and is doing something about it with these (and hopefully more) signings.

It’s obvious that Mick is staying, otherwise Steve Morgan would not have give him so much money to spend, so we need to back the new signings, back the team and back the manager.

    Up the Wolves!!

SO WE HAVE SIGNED 2 NEW PLAYERS NOBODY EVER THOUGH OF THESE 2 PLAYERS COMING.
JUST GOES TO SHOW LEAVE THE BUSSINESS TO MM & STAFF IF THEY ARE ANY GOOD, TIME WILL TELL BUT WE NEED TO SUPPORT THEM & THE REST OF THE TEAM TO GET PROMOTION NOT ABUSE THEM.
GOOD TO SEE SOMEONE TO HELP EASTWOOD
STILL NEED SOMEONE ELSE TO TAKE CORNERS & FREE KICK (NOT BOTHROYD)

Right on, BeoWulf (4): “It’s obvious that Mick is staying, otherwise Steve Morgan would not have give him so much money . . . .” Yes, Morgan has been decisive. He backed Mick McCarthy with words in November, and now with cash.
Football management is not for shrinking violets, and Mick has made mistakes on and off the field. Now he has got his second chance. Palace, Watford, the Baggies–sock it to ‘em all, Mick!
Let’s hope Morgan’s best signing is a revived McCarthy. Come on, you Wolves!

agree with number 7. a prudent business needs an exceptional leader. moxey is an exceptional leader.
love him or loathe him Moxey has done an incredible job, you simply don’t stay in that position for that period of time witout being incredible at your job. the new owner could have simply given him half a million to dissapear, instead he gave him a pay-rise to stay!!! so if one of the country’s most successful business men can see his talents it doesnt take a genius to see why he’s there. sadly “joe moaning wolves fan” who has 4 brain cells and 5 pints knows only 3 things about wolves.
    1. steve bull is god.
    2. we hate albion.
    3. moxey eats pies and must go.
i guess thats the reason why morgan and moxey are multi-multi millionaires and we… erm… aren’t.

    hey-ho.

CAn someone on here explain to me why a new striker is going to make nany difference ? we already have a prolific striker in freedy eastwood and look whats happened with him. As long as carthorse plays on the left wing and we keep persisting with our powder puff midfieders absoulutely nothing will change at all. Do people really think that anew striker is suddenly going to change the crap way we play football ? No kightly today so the best we can hope for is a draw. Biggest mistake Morgan has made to date in keeping McCarthy. You can gather i am not happy at all !

Two good signings.Wolves have a good squad for attacking football. Strikers like Ebanks Blake, Eastwood and Keogh. Wingers in Kightly and jarvis. Attacking and creative midfield players like Davies, Gleeson, Edwards, Gibson, Potter and Olifinjana.
Now all we need is a manager that sends a team out to play attacking football.

Let’s see if these two can make an inpact, that is assuming they get a game.I agree with the description of Moxey as a prudent business man, he appears to have kept us soluble.Where does it say in his contract he can continually rubbish us fans? If we are disheartened then why are we expected to keep quiet? Are these players egos so fragile? perhaps they need a psychologist more than we do for coming week after week.Wolves fans make their feelings known…..get over it.

9>Moxey an exceptional leader, are you having a laugh? If he was an exceptional leader we would be in the premier league – he has been here long enough. Results count, or is that just for managers?

Half of these posts must be by the man himself or his basketball buddies.

He takes a fortune out of the club when we are struggling. The man is rich (9) – but so is the sandwich maker at google. We made Moxey rich in a time of pathetic performance.

He kicks the most vocal supporters out of their stand for the xxxx who understandably revel in it.

He backs Hoddle with crazy signings (Moxey signed the cheque for Frankowski) and brings the club to its Knees. The manager chooses the players he wants to sign, but Moxey should be double checking.

Moxey is a complete joke. It shows how low Wolves standards have become when Moxey is thought of as a prudent business man and an exceptional leader. He has brought us nothing but mediocrity.

    MOXEY OUT

    14. Moxey IS a prudent business man. No one (Wolves fan or not) can argue that… Ok so he did sanction Frankowski’s purchase, but that’s because he ‘trusted’ our manager at the time… what he made out of the Camara debacle more than made up for that though. Do I like the guy? – No. But I can’t argue with his business instincts.
