WOLVES
INS: Turkish based left back Dominik Werling, who has been on loan at Barnsley, is a target but Wolves face competition from Ipswich.
Interest has been confirmed in Norwegian full back Erlend Hanstveit by his club Brann.
VILLA
INS: Villa are in a race with Man City for pacy Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins, who is unsettled at St James Park.
He apparently has a £13m release clause in his contract and has fallen out with Sam Allardyce.
ALBION
INS: Albion are cooling their interest in Korean Kim Do Heon – as reported in the Express & Star yesterday.
BLUES
DEFINITE: Neil Kilkenny has gone on loan to Leeds with a view to a permanent move.
OUTS: Neil Danns is wanted by Forest and Crystal Palace.
WALSALL
Nothing for the Saddlers so far today.

L.C.W. seems to think Hartson could do a job for the Albion if he lost some weight, should walk straight into the Wolves starting line up then….S**t he can’t play left back, so that will rule him out, unless you count left back at the chip shop eating their entire stock of pies.

2 Mr Smug – Wes Hoolahan – Were’nt we linked with him pre season? And nothing happened? Great to have signings galore BUT if we maintain the same non existant tactics – even the REAL Pele would end up playing far too deep in midfield; and made to look like another flop!
Dont believe that its just about a “quick fix” of new players – we need better tactics not playing players out of position and having some form of attack at the opposition
Currently very dour and no flowing football – strikers playing as midfield ball winners and no-one upfront to have a go at the opposition – we sit far too deep and we have no ideas apart from hoof the ball as often as possible

NB* Whilst we appreciate that the likes of Bothroyd is an enigma and frustrates alot of us fans – It must be equally as frustrating for the strikers with no regular supply and told to do what our midfield should be doing!
Players out there who are definately NOT putting a shift in BUT MM somehow cant see it/ wont see it and they constantly get picked???
One rule for some ANOTHER for others! Now thats great man management? NOT

Norwegian papers now refer claims of an agent acting as intermediary between Wolves and Brann that Wolves have made a verbal offer for Hanstveit, that Wolves have been asked to make a written offer and that the agent expects negotiations between the clubs to take place during the weekend. On a message board, someone has claimed that according to reliable sources, the offer is NOK 8 million, i.e. approx. £ 700.000.-. (please don´t shoot the messenger if this turns out to be well wide of the mark…) The very latest news from Brann is that Hanstveit will not be sold before Brann has a plan for replacing him.

8 Norwegianwolf – Can EH play wide left midfield as we are ruomoured to be after yet another left back – Boggie Born and Bred may well just have a point – A new tactic by MM – To solve the inbalance on the left side we sign up loads of left sided players and then play on the left wing – genius it may well work! NOT! ;-)
What about Charlie Mulgrew Left Back, is he only good enough to play for Scotland U21 but not for MM??? Any views???

What about Robbie Savage the papers say that he is considering a move to asaheffield United just the sort of no nonsense tough prem class player we want needless to say Moxley wouldnt want to pay prem wages that is why we will stay in this division

Wolf72 Dont know what games you’ve watched this season BUT the last 10 have been absolute dire / borderline garbage
Most fans we have met up with and spoken to have said exactly the same – So what do you see that is so awe inspiring and makes you wanna get up and be glad to support the Wolves???
If you get served up garbage as in food or any service – do you just sit there, smile politely and say – yum yum?

We sing up for the lads NOT the manager – as its the team that tries to go out and perform – BUT has failed miserably in the league!
So BEFORE you start spouting off calling people names – unless you can substantiate exactly what “quality” the recent performances that have been dished up by Wolves – we’re afraid you really need to take a good look in the mirror and see exactly what a “Knuckle head” looks like!
