Medical staff launched themselves from on top of a hospital in Wolverhampton.

Six people abseiled from the top of the accident and emergency building at New Cross Hospital to tell people about a new service which can save the lives of people who have had a stroke.

The Express & Star’s Tim Thursfield filmed the abseil, which was done to highlight thrombolysis treatment.

It has a high success rate of giving patients a full recovery, but must be administered within two hours of the first symptoms.
