Only downside is petrol prices!

Two weeks ago, I bought a 12 year old Renault Laguna RT. I bought it with the paltry payout I received for my Citroen which had been stolen and never recovered – I only paid £250, writes Keith from Walsall.
It’s very clean for the year, has a long MOT, no appreciable rattles or bangs and it starts on cold mornings.
I’m very impressed with the equipment level. Electric front windows, electric sunroof, tinted glass, CD player and climate control.
I’ve never had a car with air con on it before – you just dial up your chosen temperature and the system does the rest.
In this cold spell, I’ve been toasty warm. There’s even a digital readout of the exterior temperature.
In the two weeks I’ve owned it, I can’t say I’ve really gone very far. No burn-ups on the motorway, no impromptu trips into the country on a Sunday.
You see, my lost Citroen ran on LPG which cost me 38p a litre to fuel and with petrol 99p or more a litre, it’s a matter of not being able to afford the stuff.
Oh for a lottery win and I’d fill the tank and run off to Blackpool for the weekend.
