Greenhill FC 2 Perrywood 2
Thursday 15th November 2007, 8:27AM GMT.
On Saturday Halesowen based Greenhill FC drew 2-2 at home with bottom of the table Perrywood in Mid Combination Division 2.
Greenhill had the better of the first half but failed to convert a number of chances and looked to be going in at the break with no score.
However, a long ball behind the Greenhill defence caused them difficulty and Perrywood took the lead with virtually the last kick of the first half.
After the break Greenhill looked to get back in the game but Perrywood extended their lead to 2-0 on 55 mins after a good cross and header.
Greenhill rallied and pulled one back through Dean Palmer on 70 minutes when he turned and shot in the box.
Andy Speake levels the scores with 15 minutes to go with a bullet header off a corner. Despite late pressure Greenhill could not force the win.
On Saturday Greenhill entertain high flying BNJS Mann & Co in the league, 2pm kick off.
