Hastilow decision goes national

Mr Hastilow formally stepped down as prospective parliamentary candidate for the Halesowen and Rowley Regis constituency in a row over comments he made in the Express & Star.

However, the Halesowen and Rowley Regis Conservative Association called a meeting last night to see if his resignation should be accepted. At the meeting it was decided the decision should be referred to the national party board.

Mr Hastilow said today he had been spurred on by hundreds if not thousands of messages he had received from members of the public but he would wait and see what the party chose to do.

He added: “I have had hundreds if not thousands of messages of support which makes me feel that I should continue. But I’m not going to put myself in opposition to the Conservative Party.”

After a meeting with national party chairman Caroline Spelman, Mr Hastilow chose to resign as a candidate rather than apologise and be bound by a ruling that future articles be vetted by Tory Central Office.

Councillor Mary Docker, chairman of Halesowen and Rowley Regis Conservative Association, issued the following statement after last night’s meeting:

“A meeting of the Halesowen and Rowley Regis Conservative Association Executive was held on Monday evening and resolved to request advice from the Party Board.”

If Mr. Hastilow stand for election he will romp in with a very large majority. Shis should trigger Ms. Spelman’s departure for practicing pc.

Mr. Hastilow should be reinstated. I thought Britain had freedom of speech, or is that only for certain ethnic miniorites who can intimidate and threaten the majority of us.

I am sick of weak pathetic people dictating to the majority, and I want good ‘real’ men back in politics.

Don’t hold your breath, touchy feely, trendy CAMERON and his inner circle of Old Etonians are (as always) years behind the times (as indeed they were when they chose CAMERON as their own BLAIR clone when the penny had already dropped with the public about Phoney Tony)

I wonder how many of the SPELMAN and similar folk really have any idea of what its like to live in a community which is rapidly losing any notion of British Identity?

How stupid of me, most of the shadow cabinet have never lived or even WORKED in the real world(as in industry or commerce)look up their career history’s they are all ex “Researchers” and such like.

So there is your choice my friends either vote for the Labour Liars or the Tory Toffs

Where`s free speech? Nigel is just saying what`s true-and to say “Enoch is Right,” is an understatement. Nigel for prime minister?
