Wellington 1 Dudley Sports 2
Monday 12th November 2007, 9:28AM GMT.
West Midlands Premier Division 10/11/2007
Dudley made the long trip to Wellington and came back with all three points, in a action packed game.
The first half saw Dudley open up playing some good football but were caught out when Wellington scored in the 10th min from there only attack of the entire half.
This rocked Dudley but as the half continued Dudley regained there composure and dominated the half, they thought they had found a equalizer in the 35th min when Ross Harris climbed high with the Wellington keeper and grant Joshua was on hand to tap home the rebound, with Dudley celebrating the ref disallowed the goal for a foul on the keeper.
The half finished with Dudley seeing the entire ball but could not find a way thru mainly due to the Wellington keeper and some bad finishing.

The second half started in the same vain with Wellington getting deeper and deeper and finding really hard to get out of there own half.
With the game looking increasingly as though Sports were never going to score they won a corner in the 80th min and equalized when a fine delivered corner from Grant Joshua found Chris Howard at the back post and he made no mistake with a firm header.
Joshua then found himself on the end of a poor referring decision when he was adjusted to have fouled the full back, which resulted in a red card.
Dudley made the decision to stay with two up top and continued to throw everything at the home side and with time running out quickly the excellent Anthony Cox won the ball and delivered a cross which found Mitch Lester un marked inside the penalty box and he smashed home the winning goal in the 90th min.
This was a fair result in the end as Dudley were dominate through out the game and if it had not been for the excellent Wellington keeper it could have been far worse for the home side.
