Hickman Industries, which supplies specialist timber products to the housebuilding industry, announced today that it is expanding its existing manufacturing premises off Bilston Road, Monmore Green, building a brand new facility, extending its product range and opening new overseas trade opportunities.

A new 42,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton is due to open on the Parkside industrial estate, in Hickman Avenue, in January.

Mike Burlton, managing director of Hickman Industries, told employees of the plans last night. He said that since a management buyout from the Hickman family in 1999, the new team had built up an “endless list of achievements”.
