redball.jpgIn Division 2 of the Williams Bookmakers Sponsored West Midlands Snooker Wednesbury Cons lead the way after beating bottom club Landywood 4-1, Phil Bellingham, Paul Bissell, Chris Compton and Alan Elmore all won for Wednesbury.

Matthew Pickering saved the whitewash for Landywood. Amery are close behind after a hard fought 3-2 away win at Woodfield, Malcolm Williams and Steve Adams won the first two frames for Amery only for Mark Bould to reply for Woodfield. Ernie Heap then won the next frame to win the match for Amery.

Britsh Rail remain in third spot despite a 3-2 home defeat to Stafford, Paul Harrison(66) and Neil Leighton put the Rail two frames up only for Peter Fabre, Malcolm Wharne and Kevin Lennard to win for Stafford.

Golden Cue lead the way in Division 3 despite a 3-2 home loss to Old Wulfrunians, Tony Woolley, Peter Robbins and a final frame win from Pat McVey wrapped up the points for the Old Wulfs.

Wolverhamton Electric B Finally recorded their first league win of the season away to Perton. Dave Millard, John Rowlands, Colin Davies and Craig Davies ended their Seven-match win less run.
