Dudley Sports 3 Bustlehome 0
Monday 15th October 2007, 11:49AM BST.
West Midlands Premier League Dudley Sports 3 Bustlehome 0.
Dudley Sports started the first half playing some very neat and tidy football and creating several good chances, they ended this as a contest as early as the 25th min when Andy Blakeley slipped a free kick into the feet of Grant Joshua who swiveled and fired a unstoppable shot past a keeper who up to then was in fine form.
They doubled their advantage five minutes later when a move that involved Lee Lough, Chris Raybone and Andy Blakeley ended with Grant Joshua finding the ball at his feet on the right hand side of the pitch very near the corner flag, he then beat one defender and curled a shot up and over the stranded keeper for a excellent second goal.
The half continued in the same vain with Sports well on top through out.
The second half saw Bustlehome come out and really give it a go but with Dudley Sports always looking the more likely to increase there lead.
With with fifteen minutes remaining and Bustlehome not really threatening the Sports goal Sports made three changes giving debuts to Adam Collingwood, Wayne Reep and bought on John Willets who has been injured since pre season.
It was these three players who were then immediately involved in the build up of Craig Shaws well taken goal in the 80th minute.
This wrapped up the game and gave sports three valuable points and moved them up to fifth place in the League.
