Man in court on pool killing
Saturday 13th October 2007, 11:49AM BST.
This is the first picture of the third man to be accused of killing tragic Bilston teenager Shane Owoo.
Marvin James Walker, aged 21, has been charged with manslaughter following the death of 16-year-old Shane, who was beaten and forced into the Lunt Pool where he drowned.
Walker is pictured leaving Wolverhampton Magistrates Court yesterday. He showed no emotion as the court clerk read the charge that he “unlawfully killed Shane Owoo”.
Walker, of no fixed abode, was dressed in a dark jacket and white T-shirt. He glanced around the court where a handful of associates sat in the public gallery.
Walker was remanded in custody to appear before the city’s crown court with his two co-accused on January 2.
Tobias Davies, 20, of Frost Street, Ettingshall, and Christopher Lewis, 22, from east Wolverhampton, have already appeared in court accused of manslaughter.
