redball.jpgLeague Report – Thu 27th Sept – Week 4 Service Men lead the way in Division 5 of the West Midlands Snooker League, sponsored by Williams Bookmakers.

The three Wolverhampton United Services teams in the division are the early pace setters.

The C team lead the way after a 4-1 home win against Tettenhall, Chris Skeldon, Mac Skeldon, Andy Smith and Scott Corser all won for the C team with Geoff Chilton winning for Tettenhall.

The B and D team also won by the same score line, winners for the B team were Dave Walker, Dave Williams, Phil Jones and Alan Rogers(35). Neil Drewitt, Andy Butcher, Steve Bull and Mark Lees won for the D team.

A team Suffered their first defeat of the season in Division 6 as they lost 3-2 at home to Woodfield.

Chris Perry, John Evans and A. McCarthy won the match for Woodfield. Landywood D team secured their first league win of the season beating Golden Cue 3-2, David Wilton, Simon Cope and a deciding frame win from Richard Parkes won the match for Landywood.

George Houseman and Eddie Forrest won for the Golden Cue.
