Collecting queen Carol Vaughan has amassed more than 8,000 carrier bags of all shapes and sizes.

“People throw things away much too easily,” says Carol, from Great Barr.

The 63-year-old also has a house full of 52 other collections including 2,500 bars of soap, 500 tins, 400 mugs, 250 postcards, 200 tupperware boxes and 200 paper napkins

Video journalist Victoria Hoe went to Carol’s home to take a look around.
