Ashmore Inn hit three in win

On Sunday 16 september the Ashmore Inn beat Moxley 3-1 in the T.Bird Cup.
The ash were on top from the start and made chance after chance but misses by sandland,mincher,and brown, and some good goalkeeping by the moxley keeper kept the score to 0-0 at half time.
Rogers was triped in the area but from the spot kick sandland shot over the bar.
When then the 2nd half restarted it was much the same with the home side doing most of the attacking with cooper moving into midfield the ash went with 3 at the back and soon it paid off.
This time sandland beat two players in the box then got pulled down, cooper stepped up to the spot and hammered the ball past the Moxley keeper.
With good work from hale, onions and rogers it was soon 2-0 as rogers went past 2 moxley players and shot past the oncomeing keeper.
With cooke keeping goal for the home side having not seen much of the ball he made a close range save from the moxley forward.
The back four of the ashmore did a sound job on the moxley attack who had netted 8 the week befour.
With 15 mins left rogers made in 3-0 after running on to a smart move with pugh he chipped the ball over the diving keeper.
In time added on moxley pulled a goal back to make the score at full time Ashmore inn 3 Moxley 1
